Fabulous and spacious

We stayed in one of the larger apartments behind the hotel itself. Our stay was wonderful, we are four people with two teens and our unit was incredibly spacious with views of the Bosphorus. The kitchen is well laid out and has everything we needed. When filling this out, I was asked to rate it for eco friendliness. I indicated two stars because there is no recycling but I think that’s irrelevant because I haven’t seen any recycling at all in Istanbul anywhere. As a side note, my husband rolled his ankle late Saturday evening and we couldn’t find a pharmacy that was open late and all of them are closed Sunday. We were in a mild panic to get his foot wrapped in time for a flight Monday and when I messaged our proprietor, she went out of her way to buy us a compression brace and tensor bandage and delivered it to our unit. She also helped arrange an airport transfer. She really went well above and beyond what was expected and we are really grateful for her kindness. I’ll also mention the neighbourhood has lots of great restaurants and hotel is 15 min walk to Aya Sofya/ Blue Mosque/Topkapi Palace/ Basilica Cistern. A really fantastic stay with plenty of space. The unit is on the top floor and there is no elevator- while not an issue for us, may be for some. Absolutely would recommend!

We booked the apartment with sea view for 8 nights. We arrived very early and the staff were helpful and let us in earlier than 2 pm. The place is nice and well kept and has all cookware to prepare simple meals which saves money. There is also dish washer and washing machine in the kitchen. There are few super markets where you can buy grocery. It is within walking distance from many attractions and 10 min from tram station. There is no elevator so be mindful of that but the owner helped us carry the suitcases upstairs. Also they do not have shuttle to and from the airport but they can arrange it for you. We arranged it ourselves to the airport for $40. Airport taxi charged us $70 from the airport. No fault to the owner, the area around the apartment is dirty and there is trash everywhere but the area around the main hotel is clean. Daily cleaning was listed as amenity for the property but they did not clean. We were not sure if we should have asked. There are all kinds of cleaning stuff in the apartment so we did some basic cleaning and took the trash out. In general, we liked our stay and if we come back to Istanbul, we definitely look at this property again.

We are traveling with family and stayed a couple of nights in Istanbul. We chose this hotel because of the great location. The same distance to the Bosphorus and to the central square. The room was great, we were very comfortable. The hotel itself has a kitchen, but there are a large number of cafes and restaurants nearby. There is also a free car park 50 meters from the hotel. The staff is very friendly, they helped us a lot. The hostess communicates in three languages: English, Russian and Turkish. The place we highly recommend.

Deeply disappointed. The photos did not reflect the actual accommodation. Insect infestation in the bedroom (we have videos). Air conditioner wasn’t working in the one of the bedroom. Toilet seat was broken. There was hardly anything in the kitchen. Two pots, few plates. There was 6 of us. There was a blue pot left on the cooker. That had out of date food in there. It stank the apartment out. It was the children’s first time in Istanbul and it ruined it for us. There was no communication/reply back from the manager each time I sent a messaged. And on the last day, I managed to speak to him on the phone and he showered no empathy. This was our first time using Expedia to book an accommodation. And sadly, will be the last.

La situation dans la ville de l'appartement avec vue sur mer est parfait, tout est accessible à pied. La pièce avec "véranda" offre une vue superbe notamment au coucher du soleil. A recommander !

Hinta/laatu suhteeltaan paras huone missä olen koskaan majoittunut Euroopassa. Verrattuna muihin Istanbulin saman ja kalliimmankin hintatason hotelleihin, erityisesti muistelen lämmöllä Dualiksen kylpyhuoneen moitteettomasti toimivaa lämmintä suihkua. Sijainti on idyllisen kadun melkein päässä jonka toisessa päässä pieni ja kaunis puisto. Kävelymatka aamulla mäen päälle olevalle raitiovaunupysäkille jyrkkää katua pitkin Sultan Ahmed kaupunginosan läpi juuri päivään valmistautuvien kauppojen välistä ja lasillinen appelsiini/granaattiomena mehua on upea aloitus päivälle.
