Get to know Holbox with this tucked away gem

This is a lovely property off the beaten bath in Holbox. It’s about an 11 minute, easy walk from the beach. The island was flooding pretty severely during our stay and a regular golf cart can not make it to the entrance to the property. However, cabs (generally Can-ams) are abundant and you can honestly walk anywhere. The property is sparkling clean and the staff was super accommodating (they brought us more pillows and towels as soon as we asked and were so polite about everything!)

Very nice, very clean, very safe, very pretty, kitchenette with dishes. Nice fridge. I would suggest a microwave oven instead of the heating plates

Bon séjour mais pourrait être amélioré

Arrivée autonome appréciée, la chambre est spacieuse et propre. Toutefois un peu vétuste par rapport aux photos. Matériel rouillé dans la chambre (miroir, éviers…), très peu de pression d’eau (pas eu ce souci dans un autre logement). Grande baie vitrée agréable, vue sur piscine, mais malheureusement aucun rideau occultant pour dormir après 6h du matin. Emplacement au calme à moins de 10min à pieds du centre.

El acceso al hotel es complicado debido a que no son calles pavimentadas y por la lluvia anterior habia muchos charcos. Las habitaciones no tienen pantalla TV. El clima funciona excelente. La atencion de Jose excelente. Excelente ubicacion a 5 cuadras del ferry y a 5 cuadras de la playa .

Está en una zona que no es bonita, no es inseguro pero para llegar todos los días al hotelito hay que caminar mucho de la playa o del centro y las calles no están bonitas en holbox y hay puntos con mal olor.

Gorgeous Boutique Guest house

This is a gorgeous boutique guest house that is a great spot to get away from the hustle of Holbox. Lovely rooms... someone clearly has an eye for decor... The beds are very comfortable as well. Private pool is a winner with resident iguana and the odd racoon. Like most of Holbox it is near mangroves and sand dunes so expect tidal action and some floods when it rains (tip - hire bikes for dry clean feet) It's not a hotel so no reception however the staff are really friendly and will change towels etc if you ask them. Sofia the hostess was fantastic and helped us out on WhatsApp whenever we needed something. Highly recommended. The only downside is some generator noise from the island but hey, we are in Mexico!

Okay for a short stay

The location was a bit far away from the center, the roads were flooding so walking is a little bit of a hassle in the island. The owner was kind enough to give us a free cleaning during our stay, it was a bit dissapointing that cleaning was not included, especially when there is trash, as it is a hot climate it can start smelling. We stayed for 5 nights and felt everything was really covered in sand all the time and it was difficult not to bring it to the room. If there is no free cleaning, some floor brush would be great. There was no hairdryer (I got one when I asked) nor water kettle. Bed was comfortable and pool towels were great!
