House is warm and welcoming but old. You are just out of cell phone range with a hotspot. They have their own weather antenna piped directly into the den, and the solar, game room, fireplace is beautiful. Expect ladybugs in winter plaster cracking and recliners with the wood reinforcements broken. The hot tub is just a jet bathtub.
Relaxing place to stay. Owner was very responsive when we accidentally booked the wrong dates and didn’t realize it until a few days before we traveled.
The property is beautiful and the house has everything you need for your stay. The location is pretty remote so it is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Another bonus is that the property is pet friendly and my 2 dogs had a great time as well! Would absolutely go back.
We're repeat visitors for a reason; this old house has the best vibes ever. We love the seclusion and the surrounding land. Needless to say, we're already planning another visit.
Perfect private getaway to the not to far from lake
The house was just a described. A Secluded rustic farmhouse. It was perfect, we had privacy room for our big dogs to play and plenty of land for the teens to explore and hike when not at the lake .
We absolutely loved our stay at the farm. Its what we were looking for! Out in the woods! The house had everything. The owners were very easy to get hold of and answrred all the questions we had! We go there again!
The house was in a secluded area as advertised. We had a bit of a drive to the wedding venue through hilly winding roads. The house was very spacious but a bit musty.
We arrived to find the power was out which left us with no cell service but this was no fault of the owner. There were fiber optic lines being put in until 130am so we had to listen to chainsaws and a bit of noise. It was quite the family comical adventure. Besides that the property was beautiful and the house was absolutely lovely. The best place we have stayed at by far. Close enough to our family yet far enough to be in our own little world. We will definitely be planning a return trip. Thank you for sharing the estate with us.
The place was good for what we wanted. It definitely flirts with the line between rustic and rusty but it has charm if you have the right lens. Price also reflects that house isnt updated. The Property itself is beautiful and private. Nice outdoor areas to grill/picnic. Cell reception spotty. If youre a neat freak you probably wont consider this place super clean but it was fine for us. Communication with host was a little inconsistent but they seem kind. I Would recommend but definitely depends on your style.
The entire place was very family friendly. A great place to stay with little children. Our only complaint was that everything we found in the kitchen cupboards needed to be washed before using. It looked like it had been a long time since the kitchen was cleaned, but it was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of clean towels and washclothes. For the price, it was a good stay.
Our group really enjoyed our 10 night stay. Was like stepping back in time. Beautiful property with a spring house right out back. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
Awesome place to stay house was amazing was clean and had everything you need to clean and cook with. Everything was amazing and wonderful. The kids loved it there.
