We did not try the breakfast but the room was clean and spacious. Only complaint was checkin could have been more accommodating. I reserved online and even called to inquire prior to completing reservations, however was never advised that when I got there I’d have to pay an additional fee. I feel this is something that should be explained when you call for specifics. Other than that the stay was good.

Check in was smooth lady was nice. The room was terrible. Multiple stains on the carpet and couch. Hole in the bathroom door. Walking in it had a moldy smell. They did clean but the room was just old. I didn't want to walk with bare feet. I was suppose to stay 2 nights but I decided 1. They charged my card the full amount and they have to refund my money in 3 days... most hotels don't charge until you check out. I would not stay here again.

This property is well situated near shoppings mall and restaurant, the breakfast was average but better than a piece of oatmeal or coffee, nice swimming pool and the weight room as well, staff very friendly and housekeeping was superb (they only clean the third day you check in) but I’d not in downtown Houston so it’s more relaxed and friendly

Needs some improvememt

Within 2-3 days, I killed 3 roaches and a 4th got away. After that I didn’t see any more (during one week stay): There were a lot of rust stains in the bathtub, around the circular disc just under the faucet. I used a hand towel twice, then discovered what looked like someone had blown their nose in it. The sheets were clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the floor and carpet were clean.

Comfortable Stay

Hotel is relatively clean, and comfortable considering how cheap it is. We stayed for one night while driving through Texas. It was perfectly comfortable for one night. Only problem was the hotel’s proximity to the train tracks.
