Amazing location with amazing staff, special call out to Duy & Finn for their friendly chats and warm smiles. We will always remember our 5-night stay there fondly, it was the perfect antidote to the bustling big cities.

Perfect location for renting a motorbike and self-touring Tam Coc, Trang An, Mua Cave, Ancient Town and Bai Dinh. Lovely free cycling around the Karst’s. Beautiful walks.

Wow! What a beautiful homestay tucked away in a private corner of Ninh Binh. The views and hospitable staff were amazing - they truly went above and beyond to make our time at the lotus field wonderful. At night, there were loud karaoke parties nearby that echoed across the cliffs that we weren’t expecting, and most of the bikes were in tough condition, but all and all 10/10 would recommend a stay here!

We loved our stay! The property has beautiful views and is so peaceful. We saw monkeys just outside our door! The breakfast is delicious- try the banana pancakes and lunch and dinner options were great too. The staff was so helpful. Duy and Tri helped with our transportation and tour bookings. They were so fun and kind and we loved talking to them every day. I would not hesitate to recommend this place!

A rustic gem that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's just a short walk/cycle from Tràng An. Helpful staff were great at helping me organise tourism and airport transfers and I loved the location so much that I stayed an extra night. Bungalow 5 has possibly the best view from any toilet seat on the planet.

Fantastic hotel in Ninh Binh. Service was above and beyond. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled great and looked very clean. We slept so well here! All of our questions and needs were taken care of immediately when we asked. Highly recommend and would absolutely come back.

We stayed one night at Lotus Field Homestay and it was wonderful. The staff were attentive and helpful, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included and was quite tasty. It was a 15 min walk to the closet “town” area with plenty of restaurants to choose from and shops to get any snacks needed. The location was off the beaten path and very peaceful and idyllic. The lotus flowers were not in bloom while we were there, however I can only imagine how much more beautiful the landscape gets when they are. Overall highly recommend!

We absolutely LOVED staying at the Lotus Field. It was a breath of fresh air coming from the chaotic center of Hanoi to the peaceful countryside of Ninh Binh. It is a bit of a journey to get there but so worth it. They even have free bikes that can get you to some restaurants and convenient stores in a few minutes. The best part besides the view was the hospitality, it is run by a family and the two brothers, Duy and Anh are great! They communicated quickly, booked us transportation and a tour, and made us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this place to anyone going to Ninh Binh.

This place was named Lotus Field Homestay, but there were just a few lotuses in the pound nearby. We were expecting this hotel to be in a field of lotus - that was not the case. They need to clean around the properties and replace things around the hotel. Everything else looked old and outdated. Also, there isn’t any to cool their customers down during the hot summer. A pool would be nice.

My husband and I loved our quiet stay at The Lotus Field Homestay. The guys running the place are absolutely fantastic! Anh, or Ricardo, was very helpful and super knowledgable when we booked a day tour with him. Duy, helped us organise a shuttle from Ha Long Bay for our arrival and then to Ha Noi aiport when we checked out and at very reasonable prices. I couldn't find a Grab cheaper than their rates. It is off the beaten path a bit but a short walk leads you to a little town with lots of little restaurants and Homestays. We enjoyed the food at the Lotus Field restaurant, it was reasonably priced and tasty. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view from the bedroom and the bathroom. The little balcony with the hammock is perfect for relaxing with a couple of beer after a long day tour. We wish we could have stayed longer! A very family oriented homestay and good bang for your buck.

We had a mixed experience at this stay. While the staff was wonderful and always available when needed, the property itself did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price and its rating. Unfortunately, we found a few cockroaches in the room, which affected our comfort. Additionally, although the hotel offers free bikes, they were in very poor condition. One of the bikes broke while I was out, forcing me to walk it a mile back to the hotel. On the positive side, the homestay is situated in a very pretty area, offering a serene environment. However, it is quite far from most attractions and conveniences. In comparison, we had a much better time in Tam Coc, where our stay cost a quarter of the price and provided access to more amenities.

The views were amazing! Our rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff are the friendliest people we have met, especially Finn and Duy. We also enjoyed bike riding, per complimentary of the property. We will definitely come back!

Très decevant

Je ne suis pas sure de comprendre les notes précédentes, avant l’arrivée contact avec le propriétaire pour organiser le transport de Hanoï, proposition super cher et très insistant. Une fois sur place, chambre ok, nourriture vraiment pas bonne. Le lendemain matin nous étions pressés et j’avais prévenu la veille mais personne n’était prêt.. très décevant bien d’autres options disponible dans le coin.
