"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this incredible "hotel"at top the hill in Sancerre. The staff were amazing. Very helpful, accommodating & created a wonderful environment. The rooms are spacious, serene, inclusive of everything you would need & the views are spectacular. We had an outstanding dinner at Arnaud's the hotel's restaurant. I highly recommend Les Haut de Sancerre to anyone traveling to the Loire Valley & would like to experience a high end quality hotel in a smaller section of the Loire Valley. "

"It didn’t say anywhere that this apartment is part of an old age home. The pictures of the communal spaces for the property are for the use of the care home residents. All of the property facilities are clearly for elderly residents. The shower room is designed for wheelchair users. I’d understand if the property was advertised as being designed for disabled people, but it is just because it is part of a care home. They are clearly just renting out rooms they’ve been unable to sell to elderly residents. Most of the things in the room had been bought from Amazon Basics, so you have an idea of the level of investment and care going into the property. The apartment was filled with bugs crawling all over the walls and windows and we couldn’t wait to leave. Not exactly an apartment, and certainly somewhere you’d want to spend as little time as possible."
