We had a lovely stay. The house and location was perfect for us. Close to Herceg Novi but quiet location with stunning views and lovely pool. We loved Herceg Novi as quieter than Kotor and a great location for exploring the whole bay. Recommend the water taxi over to Rose Beach. Plus you have the best restaurant I think I have ever been to 5 mins walk- the old mill. Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday.
A lovely base to visit The Bay of Kotor and a very comfortable villa for all the family.
We enjoyed our stay greatly. T pool was perfect to swim and cool down in and the views from the poolside and balcony lovely. The house was well equipped, the air conditioning kept us cool, the kitchen perfect for preparing meals and we enjoyed eating meals outside. There were shops and good restaurants nearby and we loved exploring both Herceg Novi and the Bay of Kotor. We had a wonderful week here. Thank you.
Great place to stay, very clean & comfortable. There is separate Air con downstairs now as well as upstairs which is really useful. Pool was clean & very useable. The house had everything we needed & was easy to find with the instructions provided. Plenty of good quality communication put our minds at rest & Dusanka was an excellent host. There is a great cafe open from 7am to 11pm about 100 metres from the house which we went to every day for coffee/tea/Ice creams & the bakery section. Hercog Novi has a fairytale type old town with at least 20 good restaurants & Meljinne sea front has several good restaurants too. We found parking was sometimes a challenge but the answer was to park on the north side of the main road & walk across to the sea fronts. It is common practise to have your passports scanned by the tourist information office & you pay a reasonable 1 euro per nights stay. We loved the house & had a lovely holiday there.

Lovely villa. Great location
As a family of 3 we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. All was exceptionally clean when we arrived & the pool do inviting we had to have a swim before unpacking! The upstairs and downstairs of the villa were served by separate entrances which was a surprise but not a problem st all. Inside all the rooms were spacious and the upstairs sitting area a bonus.
The villa was ideally located for visiting lots of wonderful towns all dotted around the bay of Kotor and also for visiting Dubronik over the border in Ctoatia. The sir conditioning unit upstairs was welcomed and if there had been one downstairs we would have given the villa a 5 star review. We just found it a little hot downstairs even with the fan, but we are not used to the heat! Others may not experience the heat as much. Owner was quick to respond to emails and texts pre holiday and making payment was very straightforward. At the villa we were looked after by Milutin who cleaned the pool each day. Would highly recommend to others travelling to this area!

Great villa, pool, views and location.
We were immediately captivated by Dusanka’s instructions which might have come from a John Le Carre novel: once you cross the border, you will be met at a petrol station by a man called Milutin who also speaks Russian; follow him to a little village called Podi… Turned out there was a practical reason for this - house numbers or even road names are sometimes in short supply in parts of Montenegro – one of its many charms. We quickly found the best approach was to relax and go with the flow. The address-less villa turned out to be very clean which is always a good sign. Upstairs, the quirkiness of having a separate entrance wasn’t an issue & the air conditioning meant the 5 of us had few problems sleeping at night on the comfortable beds, despite the weather most days being a welcome 32 degrees. Downstairs, the electric fan was needed in the kitchen, which has a large dining table, though it was also nice to eat at the table outside (the road noise didn't bother us). Similarly there are lounge areas upstairs and downstairs, the latter having a TV (with some English language channels) and a DVD player.
Outside there is a nice balcony (good for enjoying the fantastic view, star gazing or watching distant lightning displays, as we found) and of course the pool, which the children loved, and was very welcome after reading on the sun loungers for a while. There is both sun and shade in the garden as a result of the amazing range of fruit trees. The pool is diligently tended by the aforementioned Milutin who is lovely, and very helpful, though most of our conversations were inevitably in sign language.
Kotor bay is so large it has almost no tide once you’re away from the mouth, with the consequence that the absence of waves makes swimming easy but beaches stony (swim socks recommended). While there is swimming at Herceg Novi, we preferred Morinje and Risan. We also enjoyed day trips to the little alleyways of Kotor, over the mountains towards Niksik (go for the astonishing landscape rather than the city), over the border to beautiful Dubrovnik in Croatia, and to the charming Trebinje in Eastern Herzegovina. (A point to note: if you are there in the height of summer, it is advisable to leave early for day trips for reasons of heat, ease of parking, and - especially if crossing borders -shorter waiting times. otherwise be ready for long delays). We highly recommend both Montenegro & the villa. Thank you, Dusanka!

Montenegro great place to visit
Good location for travelling around the bay and into Croatia, great swimming pool, but really needs air conditioning in the lower living room and kitchen area as still to warm for us even in September, in the lower building, upstairs air conditioning was better though.
Great views from the balcony upstairs.
Had a really lovely holiday
