Nice but small hotel

This is a nice but small hotel. When they say small rooms they mean it! You have to leave your room key (an actual key) at the front desk when you leave the property and the only door is locked midnight to 8am, under no circumstances can you enter during this period. Breakfast was small but good. Dinner was fine (but not amazing) and cost less than other places.

I was able to stay for 3 nights during the Festa dei 3 Cheri, which the hotel is named for. Gubbio is a gorgeous medeival town, but during the festival it comes alive like almost nowhere else in Europe. It is one of the most unique, energizing, ancient celebrations. It unites the community, pays respect to elders, promotes teamwork, and honors a rich independent Umbrian past. The hotel is clean and comfortable great staff, family run. I hope to come back again if Saint Georgio wishes it so.

Ausreichend für den kurzen Aufenthalt

Sehr gute Lage in Altstadt von Gubbio - alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Zimmer sehr klein, Badezimmer/WC noch kleiner. Keine Klimaanlage - zum Glück war unser Zimmer ruhig gelegen, so dass wir das Fenster öffnen konnten. Der bereit gestellte Föhn lief bei uns fast durchgehend. Frühstück ist eine (italientypische) Katastrophe: kein frisches Obst, abgepackter Zwieback und Kuchen. Auch auf Nachfrage war nichts anderes möglich. Service/Portier beschränkt sich auf das Allernötigste. Wir haben zwei Nächte verbracht, dafür hat es gereicht. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir ein anderes Quartier suchen.

Centralissimo, silenzioso e confortevole

Hotel centralissimo e silenzioso, camere accoglienti e dotate dei servizi basilari, senza pretese ma accoglienti e pulite. La nostra aveva una bella e luminosa finestra. Il personale dell'hotel è gentile e sorridente. La colazione abbondante e piacevole. Lo consiglio senza remore.

ottima posizione

Hotel molto carino, in posizione ottima sia per parcheggiare gratuitamente che per visitare a piedi tutto il centro storico. Buona e varia la colazione con torte fatte in casa e possibilità di cenare. Gentile e disponibile il personale. Noi eravamo in tre, in adulti e due ragazzi e ci siamo trovati molto bene.
