I like the big space , 2 sinks , one in the bathroom and one outside , clean , complete with microwave and refrigerator. I don’t like the stained towel and noisy AC, out of service ice machine.

Every road trip needs a motel like this!

Stopover in CT on the way from New England back to New York. Wasnt looking for 4* (and this hotel didnt disappoint). Definitely one for the functional overnight stop rather than an extended stay. Good thing about the hotel is that it was priced competitively. Classic US hotel/motel of c. 1970-1980 (and the bathroom indicated as much). Not particularly clean or modern or well appointed, but then at this price point, you get what you pay for. OK for the one night stopover like I say. Wouldnt want to spend much longer. Police seemed to be familar with the hotel - had two squad cars in the parking lot as we were leaving. Still makes for a great story.

Positive things...the water was hot, the air conditioning worked well and was quiet. Negative things,,,the room was really dirty. There was a 12 inch diameter circle of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The door to the bathroom didn't close. Trash can was dirty and was never emptied. The towels were not clean. Advertised breakfast did not exist. Although we got a non-smoking room, the bed cover was full of holes made by cigarettes. I suggest steering clear of this motel

There was two of us with a king size bed with one pillow asked for another one they didn’t give it to us. The place was run down half of the vet was burnt from a fire. They said there was gonna be breakfast. There was no breakfast I wouldn’t send anybody to that place. We slept on top of the blankets because we’re afraid of there might be something under there. I would never send anybody there.

More than half the place is closed whole place looks like a dump. Office closed it is located in one of the rooms. Door key didnt work. We didnt feel safe staying and left. No refund. But not staying in a dump

This hotel shouldn’t even be listed on your site. The registration building has been condemned, with check-in being done in one of the ground floor hotel rooms. There are no lights in the parking lots, nor is the wreaked main business sign lit at night. The few people who were staying here were full-time tenants who appeared to be welfare recipients. After check-in, I arrived to my room and checked for bed bugs, which I discovered alive and well. Two living specimens, as well as dead adults and nymphal stage bugs found in the mattresses and bed liners. I received a refund for the room, and will be petitioning Hotel.com for a refund based upon my experience. Get this place off of your site please !!!

Flag Ship is Horrible and Fraudulent

The motel should be charged with fraud. The pictures on the Hotels.com website are fraudulent. There was a fire 🔥 in the motel last month that caused major fire damage to the office and rooms. The front desk is being operated front a motel room. I saw 2 rooms and I left right away last night. I stayed at a much better hotel. The Flag Ship should be taken off the Hotels.com website. I want my money back.

The Raddison Flagship Suite in Groton CT. is the worst hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. It was partially burnt and unusable, it was filthy, mold was growing on the bathroom ceiling, several outlets inop, the walkway going to room 135 flexed like rotten wood, there was old rotten food in the cabinets, no hot water and last but WORST a hypodermic needle was laying on the entrance to our room

Did not check in, facility unsafe, want refund!

Although there was no open front desk, I refused to check in as the facility looks like the doors had been kicked in in several rooms and were patched with plywood. Photo and rreviews on the ad are deceptive. Photos are of the place but taken maybe 30+ years ago. I am surprised that hotels.com doesn't check these places before allowing them onto their site.
