The manager waited for us just a little after 9pm (which was the limit for the check in timing) and we highly appreciate that gesture The room was very clean and quiet, and we loved the decor (plus the banana bread!) "Beautiful hotel located just outside Bologna in a park-like setting. We were there for just one night and found the hotel a perfect spot from which to explore Bologna. We took the train from nearby San Lazaro di Savenna which has free parking. Note that there is a Trenitalia ticket machine at this location but it is only on the one platform and is hidden until you get to the top of the main stairs. Back at the hotel we found our room spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served...
