The property and staff were excellent. However there was no Sky TV at the premises and there appeared to be some "long term residents". This meant an early morning wake up as the occupiers of the room next door started their Sunday at 7am with early morning banging on walls and crashing around in their room.

Really Dirty! broken doors (got locked in toilet twice), broken blinds with no curtains so light flows on through, extremely hot, no aircon is fine but put in a fan or even window stays as we couldnt open a window to try cool down. Could say alot more about our room but wont. The room next door appeared alot cleaner so perhaps its being renovated. Wouldnt stay again.

Clean and tidy

First time staying here and visit Gisborne every 8 weeks. Motel was clean and tidy. Nice and quiet as was at the back of the premises. Bit of a hike if you wanted to walk into town . Had to request more milk which wasn’t a problem - would prefer fresh milk though. No sink but note to offer to replace dishes if needed which I didn’t. Plenty of parking. Nice big back lawn with table and facilities for smokers. Will stay again as very good value if needs a place to sleep on an overnight trip to Gizzy
