Amazing hotel, bit out from the centre but lovely and quiet. Very pleasant staff and an amazing breakfast. The bed was so comfy and the room very clean indeed. Tram into town 5 mins walk away and a small supermarket within easy walking distance.

Great place, great price, close to downtown

Close to downtown without the noise. The check in was easy and quick. I appreciated key codes instead of carrying a card. The shower was nice. Everything seemed pretty new and taken care of. They have a good late check out policy that was appreciated. The road leading in is a little weird. No lowriders.

Två dagar i Gdansk

Helt okej boende och ligger i ett dugligt avstånd från centrum. Sängarna var hårda och frukosten är inget att rekommendera. Vi skulle endast sova på hotellet så vi är nöjda och rekommenderar trots allt detta hotell. Gratis parkering utanför dessutom!

Good rooms. Owner very helpful and helped booking ferries during hard conditions due to Ukrainian war. Really recommend this place.

Akurat trafiłem na awarię, o której mnie nie powiadomiono ... Pani na Recepcji szybko wyszukała nowy pobyt w pobliskim Hotelu. Wszystko odbyło się w miłej atmosferze oraz sprawnie... za pobyt uregulowany w Royal nie pobrano ponownej opłaty. Po przygodach, ale bez zastrzeżeń.

Good value for money

Nice place for staying - friendly staff, comfortable bed. We arrived quite late about 10 pm and hot water was an issue, so the kids had to take a quick cold shower before going to bed, which was quite unpleasant for them. My husband and I waited for about 1,5 hours to take a bath. I liked the place though - pretty quiet and we had a very good rest.

The only issue was the about the location, in the app was saying 1 mile from town but we 2.2 miles from the town to get to the Hotel even you have to take a around a hundred stairs to get to the Hotel’s steet

Lovely Hotel in quiet location - would recommend!!

Upon arrival we were met by a friendly receptionist who explained that we were being upgraded free to the master suite and the room was being cleaned and prepared, this was no longer than 30 minutes wait. The room was fantastic and spacious arranged over two levels albeit we only used the lower level. The bed is a double which looks small in the huge space but was amazingly comfortable. There was a fridge in the room and a spa bath. The room was on the top floor with no lift so for some this may be a concern but didn’t bother us. All encounters with the staff were excellent and they were always friendly, with even the chambermaid being smiley and saying good day. Some reviews have commented on the distance to the town ( long walk up a big hill) and we walked it once which took some 30 minutes, however the hotel staff pointed out the nearby tram stop and gave us a free map. The trams are very frequent (every few minutes) and take 3 minutes into town, we alighted after two stops at Centrum by the shopping centre and walked from there. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, quiet, relaxed and convenient. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as it was 30 PLN per head, instead we opted to breakfast in town which was circa 15 PLN each.

This was clean and nice. breakfast was very good. check in easy and they spoke fairly good English. We had seen on some website featuring this hotel that there was a hot tub. I was so looking forward to it after a long day but when we got there we found there was not a hot tub. Apparently 2 rooms have a jacuzzi tub. we did not get one of those rooms. We ended up with public transportation as the couple who were coming with us and renting a car backed out because of virus fears. With public transportation it is a 15 min walk up a hill with many steps-after a trolley ride.

Leuk pand met sfeervolle inrichting, locatie is wat minder, hobbelige kasseienweg naar hotel, weinig parkeerplaats voor auto's. Tram verbinding vrij dichtbij en op zich al niet te ver van het centrum van Gdansk. Behoorlijke kamer met matige douche, wel netjes en schoon. Behoorlijk ontbijt. Redelijke bedden.

Ho prenotato 2 quadruple, mi danno 2 triple nonostante dimostrassi con prenotazione alla mano di avere prenotato 2 quadruple. Mi chiedono di pagare una differenza per aggiungere i letti ma 1 camera è troppo piccola per poterlo mettere. L'hotel non ha ascensore ma scale con gradini stretti e alti scomodi per salire con bagaglio fino al 2° o 3° piano. Letto matrimoniale scomodissimo, assenza totale di sapone, shampoo e bagnoschiuma, asciugamani vecchi e rigidi. Sala colazione troppo piccola, devi aspettare il turno per sederti, macchinetta per caffè-cappuccino rotta. Nella descrizione dell'hotel si parla di parcheggio gratuito. Vero, il parcheggio è sulla strada, sopra i marciapiedi spesso pieni, quindi non si possono nemmeno scaricare le valigie vicino l'ingresso. Per finire mi fanno pagare la colazione di due persone in più, prenotata come le camere per 4 persone

royal residence review •room wasnt ready at 2pm to check in so had to wait until 2.30pm (even though online check in states 2pm) there was nobody else even staying in the hotel! •wifi didn't work on many occasions which was frustrating •there was a few hangers but nowhere to hang clothes which defeated having them in the first place. •no coffee/tea in the room but was a kettle, cups and sugar? •I presume nobody else was staying here because it was a building site, all maintenance work was going in outside and inside the building which was extremely noisy throughout my stay. •people drilling/sawing at early hours of the morning which was extremely loud and woke me up. there was no care for the customers and I was very disappointed my stay. •finally compared to the photo's I seen online of their hotel, my hotel room was nothing a like! all 84 photos show the hotel as it appears online and not in reality. I have attached photo's below, compare them yourself to the ones shown by the hotel themselves.

Nie polecam!! Na 10 min po rezerwacji noclegu zadzwonił do mnie właściciel hotelu i powiedział ze nie maja wolnych pokoi i zwrócą mi pieniądze na konto w ciągu kilku godzin. Niestety do dzisiaj nie otrzymałam zwrotu a od wlascicieli otrzymuje wymówki, jednego dnia, ze przelew został już wykonany ale pewnie nie doszedł, drugiego dnia ze faktycznie nie został wykonany, bo właściciel był na urlopie z dziećmi i nie chciał zawracać dobie głowy pracą... sytuacja trwa ponad tydzień i nadal bezskutecznie staram sie odzyskać moje pieniądze. bardzo nieprzyjemna sytuacja i żenujący brak profesjonalizmu.
