Those little details are not important to me. I go more by the atmosphere and character of a place. These old motels are relics of a different era in the USA. Now, we have the Indian motel/hotel families, such as the well-known Patel network, to thank for the preservation of these old structures. They know how best to keep the rooms affordable to working class folk while still maintaining hospitality and comfort. I enjoy imagining the ghosts of past travelers hovering in the mist. Man, it's all about the vibe! But, yes, it was clean and tidy and fresh-smelling, too.

The hotel does no match the pictures of the hotel. I was quite and clean. Bed not the best at all. No ice machine on property. Bathroom could have been better clean. You could see calcium from the hard water deposits

Affordable and basic- in a good way.

This is a budget friendly hotel. This is my second stay here and I am very happy. Staff is friendly and present. The location is close to many restaurants, markets, and shops. The rooms are basic, with no carpeting, microwave, and mini-fridge. AC works and showers are hot and no drain problems. Rented 3 rooms and they placed us next to each other. About a 10 minute drive to Disneyland.

We didnt have our kids with us so we booked with Tropic lodge. Clean, friendly and non smoking rooms. Alot of dining places in walking distance. Free parking. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was ... Decent. There were some damages to the comforter and other room items. We did have an issue coming back to the room and our key was deactivated and I had to call the hotel (because reception was closed). The house cleaners did straighten up our room when we left (but we didn't have the option to request they didnt). They seemed to have a small pool area but we didn't use it (not sure how we would have accessed it). There were some walkable places in the area - wish I could've explored more.

Very good price and worked well for our Disneyland trip as everything else was booked. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this hotel was for the price. I’d like to give a special shoutout to housekeeping for working hard to make sure our room was clean and tidy each day. Quiet neighborhood as well with lots of Uber options.
