Great stay in Franklin, NE

We had a wonderful stay! The room was super clean. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay at the Drop Tyne Lodge again!

The motel was easy on/off the highway. Very comfortable beds and nice shower. Fairly large room as well. It would have been nice to have some bagels or fruit as breakfast options. We stopped instead after we left the motel. Not a deal breaker. It suited our needs for a one night stay. Franklin itself did not have any restaurants that were open. We walked instead to a grocery store for dinner options. There is a gas station next to the motel with some food as well.

Comfy & cute place!

This place is an amazing gem! My son and I stayed here on our way to Kansas from South Dakota. This is a very comfortable, cute, friendly place. The double queen room we got was huge! We will stop here again when we are in the are.

Very clean rooms and very friendly staff. We forgot some clothing on our trip and the guy at the front desk, I assumed the owner literally gave me the shirt off his back (let me borrow some clothes to wear for a wedding the next day). That's some real Nebraska hospitality right there!

The hotel was clean and quiet. However, the small town closed up very early so there was no place to eat. In addition, they only served breakfast until 8:00 AM which was too early for us to eat since we were on vacation.

This is a cute little place, almost in the middle of nowhere! While there are not many choices for places to stay in this area, do not feel like you will have to settle for something dirty or shady when staying here. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Fixtures are dated but everything we needed was available here, and it was clean. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. There is a small, self-serve continental breakfast & coffee area available (remember those?). I am not a breakfast person, but some may appreciate more choices for breakfast. However, it's nothing that would stop us from coming back. Give this place a try!
