AMAZING!!! A beautiful, very clean boutique hotel with a prime location in Fowey. The staff were friendly and helpful from the waiting staff to the barmaid to the housekeeper. A clear passion for the business that they are a part of.
The food was exceptional I only wish we had a longer stay so we will have to come again.
Thank you for the stay and keep doing what you do it’s done to a high standard.
We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff was exceptional, helping us out when needed, always pleasant and accommodating. The meals we had here were very good. We would definitely stay here again.
Great sized twin room. Great location with brilliant breakfast, friendly staff. Bathroom maybe could do with frosted glass/curtain, especially with scaffolding currently up.
Location amazing. Friendly staff. Really comfy room with fab toiletries.
Cannot find anything negative to say about Haveners.
We definitely plan to stay here again.
Our room was modern and clean and with lovely additional touches, i.e. bathrobes, coffee machine, kettle, spay for your pillows, earplugs. The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. The food there was lovely, breakfast was included and had a good range. We would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay memorable and pleasant.
Lovely experience at the Haveners! Food was fab and had a great weekend out in Cornwall.
They need to work a little bit on the entrance to the hotel but otherwise it was fantastic.
Room very cozy and clean. Loved the earplugs provided for the early loud seagulls :)
Recommend!
This is a lovely place to stay. My room was small but had lovely touches like bathrobes and pillow spray. Only thing to be aware of is the is no parking nearby.. this is fine as the location makes up for it but the car park is a steep hill walk away. I recommend driving down and dropping off any luggage then going to park.

Only negative was the parking. Long walk from car park needed a golf cart or something to transport other than bus which cost and few stops
Other than issue with parking food was great and service was excellent
Place is right on the water edge. Stayed here for 5 nights. Room was clean & well appointed coffee maker & pods, kettle, water, biscuits. Free wifi, tv, iron all the things needed. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Beautiful village with variety of places to eat shop or just watch the world go by. Parking is a fair walk but a minor issue if mobile. Would def recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Haveners. It’s an excellent location. Our bedroom and en-suite was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the room was a good size with some lovely touches, such as pillow spray and dressing gowns. The bathroom did have a drain smell which was a little overpowering. Our breakfast was included and was delicious. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly.
We stayed one night B&B. Nice location, very friendly, helpful staff. The room was lovely, clean, and up to date, with great attention to detail, great idea to provide ear plugs, though not needed. The snacks and fresh coffee were a bonus. Good pub food, unusual vegan fish and chips option. Breakfast was fantastic, until I found a hair which is my only negative!
Rooms were very nice and bed very comfortable, look out over the water and square. Breakfast was excellent, a choice of full english, waffles etc. We had full english and eggs benedict, both were excellent.
Also ate in the restaurant, fish and chips and chicken and coconut curry. Both were very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Car parking..there is around 10 spaces out front with a max 2 hr stay, you can park overnight, but need to be gone by 9am. There is a long stay car park 0.5 mile away at Caffe mill.
Definitely stay here again.
A lovely spot for an overnighter. Comfortable room and good facilities. Nice bathroom with overhead shower.
Had dinner in the restaurant next door (The King of Prussia) which was excellent and recommended.
Hotel breakfast was full English. Not great just OK. Poached egg was watery and cold. Beans were in a microwaved rammakin and hotter than a solar flare. Bacon hard and dry…
No parking is a pain, had to walk next part of a mile to the car in the rain next morning. But that’s Fowey.

We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower. It was just perfect with views of the quayside and water. Lovely to sit and watch the little Polruan ferry coming and going. The staff were amazing, it felt like a much loved family run business rather than a corporate concern. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful and always on hand. In particular J.Lo went out of her way to answer any questions we had and is a credit to Haveners. Shout out also to Glen who was very helpful.
Food was top quality, can totally recommend the fish pie and fish and chips. Loved the dining area which was perfect at breakfast time with its wonderful views.
Well done to all for making our brief stay perfect - we will return!
A beautiful location right on the edge of Fowey Harbour. Great food, comfortable bed, thick towels and dressing gown, clean room and bathroom. However some things let the place down.
We were asked at breakfast each morning if we needed the room serviced or anything topped up - this should happen automatically without guests having to list what they need. The bed should be made, bathroom freshened, and crockery/water should be replaced daily but unfortunately none of this was done. On the morning we asked for things to be topped up, we had a pile of towels and biscuits left outside our door (this was all I could remember we needed when I was put on the spot at breakfast!)
No welcome booklet e.g. to include timings for food service, menu, radiator instructions (the writing at buttons had worn away)
Breakfast served in the beautiful conservatory, however this was made very unpleasant once when the continental breakfast items were loudly cleared away, chairs scraped along ground setting table up, etc. I would have thought guests would be left to enjoy breakfast peacefully before things being cleared away around them.
At dinner when I asked for the bill it did not arrive, only arrived when staff were prompted again - restaurant was quite busy with minimal waiting staff
Check out: we weren’t asked if we enjoyed our stay, just whether they were to charge the card on file - we had already paid months prior. This should have already been known - felt slightly unprofessional.
Lovely welcoming bar with accommodation, room clean, comfortable and decorated lovely. They have thought of everything from dressing gowns to bottled water, Cornish biscuits and even ear plugs ( didn’t need them! ) staff lovely and friendly.
