Our stay was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful! The rooftop dinner was super delicious and the view was breathtaking! They even arranged a private tour of the Medina for us and helped us get a taxi to the airport! I would highly recommend!
Great value for money. Easy access to tours (near a main street) and very clear directions in the medina. Dinner and breakfast were the best we had in town, both in taste and presentation. Staff were genuinely helpful, special thanks to Yassine and Abde Arhman, and the owner Abdul was clear and efficient. They arranged a hammam with pick-up. Room was spotless and the bed/blanket were very comfortable.
Bonus: a small shop 1 min away you can buy snacks and drinks, the lady boss and the kids are very honest and helpful.
This tiny treasure is in the heart of Fes Medina. We love the comfort of cozy and clean room. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and traditional. We also loved dinner at their restaurant. We were offered other guides and tour packages but we had already booked. Taxi pick up was helpful. Thank you!
If I could give these guys 20 stars I would! The host family was more than accommodating. We arrived much later than expected and someone met us on arrival in the middle of the night to guide us to our accommodations. They were absolutely so hospitable and welcoming they made us feel very comfortable and like at home.
We returned to Palais Fes Yahya after a couple of days in Chefchaouen as we had had such a lovely stay previously. It was like coming home to old friends!!
The family helped us to arrange a last-minute visit to the Chouara Tanneries, before catching our train to Marrakesh. They really are a delightful family- so very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this authentic and beautiful riad if you are coming to Fes!!
I traveled alone to Fez not knowing what to expect. My host picked me up at the airport and made me feel safe and at home . The place is beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful. I would definitely go back.
Fatima and her family were so very welcoming, friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble! Communication with Fatima was easy and her family were so helpful and kind to us. The riad is absolutely stunningly beautiful and our room was so pretty and super-comfortable. We ate dinner at the riad which was delicious and beautifully presented. We look forward to visiting again next time!!
We really enjoyed our stay. The ‘brothers’ took excellent care of us and we were able to easily arrange two tours of the city, which was very helpful as we were only there for one day. The place was very clean and beautiful. The shower was very hot and full. The best part was walking up the alleyways of the Medina. It took us back in time and it was easy to appreciate the historical aspects of this amazing city. We have definitely fallen in love with Morocco and it’s people!
Absolutely wonderful staff. The boys went above and overboard. The hotel is centrally located and there are signs everywhere leading you to this hotel, so there are no chances of you getting lost in Fes’ alleys. The dinner was ok, and the room was ok too. The bathroom is tiny, so was quite challenging. The room that we got was extremely noisy, and this went on for about until midnight. However, I would still recommend this stay coz of the staff.
The staff were so fantastic. Amin & Adnan went above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. The Riad is beautiful inside and well kept. The beds were comfortable. Dinner was one of the best we’ve had on our trip.
This is a family run business. We truly loved everything about it. They all were so kind and helpful in any way. You will feel that you are staying with family members. I would highly recommend this place.
The room was beautiful in a central location of the Old Medina, a city founded in the 700s. At first sight, the alley ways of the old city can be a bit overwhelming to someone unfamiliar with the layout of the Fes. However, they were safe to walk and the owner and his brothers were exceptionally helpful in giving us a map and directions. I think the real plus was they had painted signs throughout the maze from every point of interest on how to get back to the city. Furthermore, their rooftop restaurant had the most flavorful Morrocan food that wr had eaten in the country. They also packec us a breakfast and helped arrange the puckup for out desert safari. Highly recommendef.

Liked: Staff & service
Beautiful, but dated. Rooms were clean, but it was very loud both during the day and at night. The food was good, but exactly the same each day with a very small menu. The staff was helpful but most things we had to ask for 2-3 times before getting them. There was no daily bill so be prepared to keep track of items ordered to pay at checkout. Good location and happy with the coordinated tours, but getting ahold of the manager was often delayed. Overall, good enough.
"Palais Fes Yahya: Culinary Excellence in Morocco"
Certainly! Clear signage provided by Palais Fes Yahya in Fes' old town helps guests navigate the similar streets, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable exploration of the vibrant surroundings.
The exceptional food at Palais Fes Yahya, prepared with love and care by the family, stands out as one of the most memorable culinary experiences guests encounter in Morocco.
I had a great stay at the Palais Fès Yahya. Not only was the Riad a charming and well-located place, the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. When you stay here you aren't just getting the benefit of the hotel. Fès can be difficult to navigate as a tourist, and the hotel is also useful for organizing other trips (e.g. guided tours, day trips). They use people they know, who are themselves honest (trust me - you don't want to get guides from the street in Fès!). As an added bonus, the restaurant on the terrace is quite good, and you can end up meeting other travelers there (it tends to be a friendly environment, encouraged by the staff).

Enjoyed my stay at this riad. The place is beautiful and very clean, and the staff were attentive — they were always checking if we needed anything. The food was tasty (a bit pricey compared to eating out elsewhere), but super convenient. They also help with everything from calling a car to laundry (some things come at an extra fee, but it's nice to have these options regardless). Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend!
