Authentiek hotel, waarschijnlijk honderden jaren oud! Middenin de Medina, heel sfeervol. Wel vrij stoffig, maar dat kan ook haast niet anders in deze Windcity.

The Riad was ok. You pay what you get for. Staff was very nice and the location was fine. The parking was 15 mns away so with bags it is not ideal. Very noisy because of work taking place next door. Late at night and early morning. I recommend the toad but I won’t go back .

Good Riad for a short stay in the center

Hotel well located to explore Essaouira. Rooms are a bit dated but ok for the price paid. The neighbourhood of the hotel feels safe. Breakfast is delicious and served by a friendly and welcoming lady. The hotel receptionist does ask what exact time you plan to come back at night when you leave in the evening.. As we were going out and did not care for a curfew, we made it clear that we can not give an exact timing, luckily he did wait for us to come back.. Overall experience was good for a short stay.

This is a mid-range riad in the Medina. Staff super-friendly. Decor could do with a wash and brush-up. Bed comfortable. Room freezing - end-November. Hot water but basic shower head. Towels grubby but changed every day. Breakfast, as ever, a bit samey. Overall, it’s ok for the money, but I could have chosen better for my first visit. Would re-visit Essaouira but would stay somewhere else.

Hallo, bzl. der Bewertung des Hotels habe ich folgendes zu sagen : es wäre fair - für meine Altersklasse darauf hinzuweisen, dass es in diesem Hotel keine Heizung gibt, und damit die Zimmer dem Wetter entsprechend eiskalt sind. Ferner ist mir folgendes passiert, ich habe zwei Ringe, welche ich in der Regel wenn ich das Haus oder Hotel verlasse anziehe und diese nach Rückkehr wieder ablege. Immer am selben Platz . Hier im Hotel auf eine Ablage im Badezimmer . Als ich für einen kurzen Spaziergang das Hotel verliess, vor den beiden Ringen stand, entschloss ich mich sie nicht anzuziehen und teilte beim Verlassen des Hotels den Cleaningladies mit, dass sie nun mein Zimmer cleanen können. Nach meiner Rückkehr stellte ich mit Entsetzen fest, dass mein Goldring, ein Geschenk meines Grossvaters von vor 55 Jahren, nicht mehr da war . Informierte umgehend ,mit Tränen in den Augen , die Hotelleitung darüber ...- welche ausser Kopfschütteln, und dass die Cleaningladies ehrlich sind nichts weiteres von sich gab. ...ich schrieb ihnen dies ...erhielt jedoch bis dato keinen Bescheid ?? Fakt ist, dass beide Ringe vor mir lagen und ich mich entschied sie nicht anzuziehen. Während meiner kurzen Abwesenheit wurde mein Zimmer gereinigt und als ich zurück kam fehlte einer meiner Ringe.

confusing online reservations

Generally a good option. The only problem was my reservation said "free breakfast" and their data said breakfast was not included. The explanation was the website searcher always says "free breakfast". The solution the boss was giving me was to complain to the searcher! After one hour of having me without having eaten at 10 a.m., he did not understand that if searchers give confusing information, the riad should contact them to avoid similar situations in the future. It was not until the second night that I was offered the breakfast. So clarifying this point saves time and problems!

le riad est bien situé malheureusement l'accueil du personnel a été un peu décevant. Peut être étaient-ils un peu stressés? C'est dommage. A noter aussi malheureusement l'odeur dans la rue même si j'ai bien conscience que le personnel du riad n'y est pour rien . C'était très désagréable .

Sympathique riadh

Séjour d'un jour dans un riadh situé au cœur de la Médina dans une zone très animée. Néanmoins, la chambre était très bien insonorisée, ce qui nous a permis de passer une nuit tranquille. Cependant la literie gagnerait à être améliorée. L’accueil était courtois et sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner copieux et le personnel aux petits soins. Ridh à recommander.

Riad´en ligger midt inde i medinaen, hvilket betyder, at man er tæt på det hele, men det er også meget overvældende. Personalet er venligt og hjælpsomt. Der er dét, der skal være, men heller ikke mere. Wifi på det værelse, jeg var på, var ikke idéelt, bedst på fællesområdet på etagen.
