Great family run hotel in the centre of Eger

Great little family owned hotel at the edge of the main Dobo square in Eger... comfortable rooms, great restaurant where we had a memorable dinner and pleasant , ever smiling people at the reception.. highly recommended if you are ever in Eger

Best Location in Eger and Free Parking Too!

The location was in the middle of the old town square and accessible to all the sights. The owners were very helpful and kind with recommendations for what to do and where to go in Eger and even offered to book reservations for us. They even went to the restaurant next door to bring us some ice when we asked for some. The breakfast included with the room included freshly scrambled eggs, cold cuts, yogurt, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Vintage and comfortable

If you love old hotels with a lot of character, then this is the place for you. It isn't deluxe but it has plenty of charm. The property is locate in the heart of the old city and features a very nice restaurant. The lobby has vintage photographs and memorabilia and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I hope to return to Eger so I can stay there again.

Wir waren das 2te mal in Eger und haben uns hier diesmal für diese Unterkunft entschieden, und das war super. Das Hotel ist Top gelegen, das Frühstück super, der Parkplatz gleich um die Ecke und das Personal super freundlich. Einzig die Ausstattung ist schon leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist sauber gereinigt. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist dann noch zusätzlich ein Hammer. Was will man mehr! Jederzeit wieder gerne.

I stayed at Senator-Haz back in 2000 and 2003 and decided to stay there again in 2022. Great location. Absolutely in the center of everything in Eger. Friendly and accommodating staff (and owners). Fabulous breakfast. They now have an annex for more space and slightly quieter (although main building not noisy). Always a tremendous experience. I highly recommend it.

Senator-haz is a family-run hotel in the heart of Eger, under the castle. It has a unique style and during this time of the year an important hub for the advent/Christmas market. Dobó tér is right in front of the building with beautiful lights, great music, mulled wine, eggnog and the sort. Heartwarming hospitality, great kitchen and lovely rooms, highly recommended!

Einwandfrei und zu Empfehlen das Hotel

Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel das dir das Gefühl gibt die Zeit ist steht geblieben, viele nette Bilder und Anekdoten zum Hotel, Zimmer sehr sauber, unten ist das Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen. Kostenloses Parken ist dabei in einem abgesperrten und überwachten Bereich. Direkte Innenstadtlage. Sehr freundliche Besitzer, komme gerne wieder.

Acogedor y muy recomendable

Un sitio acogedor, me quedo siempre en este lugar cuando vuelvo a la ciudad. Tiene un estilo histórico, es como hacer un viaje en el tiempo, el personal es muy simpático y hospitalario. Lugar céntrico, tienen parking y restaurante. Ubicado en el centro rodeado de cafeterías y restaurantes y justo al lado del castillo.

1年に一度一泊だけ宿泊する私のことを覚えていてくれた。 お客さんが少なかったためだと思うが、朝食にライスプディングがなくて残念だった。しかしそんな些細なことよりも 親切な接客、清潔でバスタブのついた快適な部屋。おいしい料理を考えると、ほかのホテルには泊まれない。 ちなみにスーパーも徒歩2分、ワインショップは向かいとお土産にも困らない
