Absolutely 1st Class location and accommodation plus service ,standard of meals, friendly helpful staff,..all of the highest order! Very highly recommend the Old Aberlady Inn and I will be back! Many thanks to all for an excellent stay!

Friendly bed and breakfast accommodation.

We were up in Edinburgh for a family get together and wanted some where near Prestonpans. It was a friendly pub where you could eat in the lovely rooms where there were two log burning fires. Staff were excellent. Breakfast good. But no parking so had to park on road side. Overall a good three star bed and breakfast pub which I would recommend to friends and family.

Heating was not switched on in bedroom. Was very cold. Askec to have it switched on but took an hour to heat. Off again in morning. Not good for October. Cost me 2 weeks illness and a waste of a holiday.

Fine apart from incredibly noisy plumbing and extractor fans in adjacent rooms, making uninterrupted sleep entirely impossible - even with ear plugs! Staff, service, food excellent and a great location.

The whole experience was phenomenal. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable, clean, and well taken care of. And the food in the bar was excellent!!!

We had the triple room although only two of us. It was a good size and very nicely decorated in modern style. Particularly taken with the little carafe of sherry to welcome us. The shower was larger than the usual which made a welcome change. Bed very comfortable. once inside there are a surprising number of areas for bar and dining. We ate in the conservatory at night but on a warmer evening there is a beer garden which is quite private. The meal was very good and service excellent.
