Hotel is nice and comfortable with good size rooms and nice bathrooms. Location is fantastic - we were one block away from the Christmas markets - literally a 3 minute walk. Also situated next door to The Dome. Nice and pleasant stay in a great area.

Nice but noisy

Nice place and good location, but close to tourist area so expect to hear people partying until early in the morning if you stay th-sat.

Nice location

This hotel was in a great location near shopping and restaurants but still a quiet neighborhood. Walkable to the Royal Mile. Our room was very quaint. A little worn but overall nice.

Staff were excellent and character rooms gave a uniqueness to the hotel. Location superb. The One thing that let it down was the WiFi in rooms. My stay was a mixture of business and pleasure. The WiFi kept dropping and there were several online meetings where I had to keep reconnecting.

Good place to stay in Edinburgh

Overall I enjoyed my stay, but I wouldn’t necessarily stay again. One morning there was no hot water. The lamps in the room (Beijing room) are all kind of wonky and should be replaced. And I was kinda surprised the TV wasn’t a smart tv, I would have preferred to log in to my own apps at night. The location is great, the bed was fairly comfortable and enjoyed the large bathtub.

Great place to stay in Edinburgh

Every room has its own individual styling - the Cairo room I was in had a lovely seating area, a desk to work on, a big comfy bed, and an enormous bath. The drinks and beakfast was great, and the location is perfect for exploring.
