Decent central place to stay

Decent apartment. Large space and beds were super comfy. Only really slept and showered there, spent all day out exploring. Good location to get from airport and then onto all the main tourist attractions.

We had a nice two room suite. The bedroom was quite spacious, with a clean modern bathroom. The kitchenette was in a sitting room and had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The room was well-equipped for two people - breakfasts and lunches were easy to deal with. The building is in a great location. Classic stone buildings in a neighbourhood with excellent pubs and a good choice of restaurants. The train station is less than five minutes away on foot. Edinburgh castle is twenty minutes away in the other direction. It’s totally safe at night - the hotel abuts the local police station.

The location is ideal; close enough to walk to many of Edinburgh’s top sights, and just steps away from tram and bus stops, making it easy to get around the city or to the airport, or just if you don’t want to walk in the rain. The apartment-style setup is a plus, especially for longer stays. It was clean, felt safe, and included useful amenities like a washing machine (note: no dryer, but drying racks were provided). The space was quiet and well-maintained, with everything you need for a short or extended visit.

The electronic access was very easy to use and provided smooth check-in and check-out. There was an issue with the ceiling fan but they sent someone to fix it immediately and was all taken care of :) Great location, very close to Haymarket station that will take you to most places. Lots of food options in the area to choose from.

Stayed for 2 nights during a recent trip to Edinburgh. Location is good, a few minutes from Haymarket station or a 20 min walk to the Castle area. Reception staff were friendly, but we only saw them once during our stay. A warning for those on the top floor, there's no lift and it's a long way up after a day of sightseeing! The flat itself was spacious but decor was tired, scuffs and marks on the walls etc. Double bed was comfy but sofabed less so. Kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, it suited our short stay and being at the cheaper end of accommodation in the area, the quality was as expected.

We love to walk and it was very walkable to everything. If you are not a walker, the tram is very close and runs frequently.

Property was comfortable and quiet - ideal for work stay. Initial communication regarding £100 deposit could have been more transparent at initial booking stage. It’s reasonable that guests wouldn’t read the entire terms of business before booking.

Clean room, staff wasn't really around much. In the room we were in the bed had corners at the footboard that stuck out. My partner and myself kept hitting them with our knees and i was bruised by the end if the trip.

Despite only staying for a single night, I very much enjoyed my stay. The women who helped me check in was very nice and despite having issues with the lock, fixed the issue and helped thoroughly. The room was spacious and the bed was particularly comfortable. I walked there from the city centre so it was very convenient and then I later in the evening walked to go and have dinner. Overall, I would definitely stay again!

Safe and quiet, big roomy apartment with decent amenities in the kitchen. Good location for us as we like to walk around and I was familiar with the area, good transport if you don’t like walking. Small staff interaction was pleasant enough and we liked being able to leave our bags on the day of checkin. All the floors were sticky and made the bottom of our socks and feet black with dirt, the bathrooms weren’t that clean (there was blue cleaner in the toilet but that was the extent of the cleanliness). The towel rails would not turn off so they were scalding hot in the middle of August. It’s good for space and location but very expensive for its datedness and cleanliness!

Terrible check-in experience requesting me to pay the fee that I already paid and was discounted automatically from my card by booking the room via Expedia. Disrespectful desk staff kicking me with my family out if I wasn’t able to pay, until the manager came to say sorry and that it was already paid, and then gave us access to the room. Horrible experience since the staff don’t know their own procedures and information they share with Expedia. Even when I requested to talk with the manager the staff told that she doesn’t care about the manager because she was leaving the f.. job this month. So another reason she had to give very bad service to customers.

An OK stay but could be cleaner

I was disappointed that cleanliness was not upto what I would want. There was sweet wrappers and bits of food in the mattress of the sofa bed as we unfolded it, very dusty skirting boards and a Rentokil box at the side of the bed which really put me off. It’s a shame really as the furnishings themselves were very nice and it’s in a very handy location

This was a very average property. Fine if it is on at a cheap price, but otherwise you can get much better options in the hotels within a few yards from this property. The lounge area in the apartment I stayed in was, frankly, quite horrible, so I closed the door on it and forgot about it. The bedroom was spartan, but roomy. the bathroom fine, except the glass at the sunk hadn't been cleaned! (ugh). There are no facilities worth mentioning. Overall, very disappointing and not an option I'll choose again.
