Hotel leider nicht mehr in Betrieb, trotz Buchung

Das von uns gebuchte Hotel "Tryp by Wyndham Dresden Neustadt" wurde kurz vor unserem Besuch (und über drei Monate nach Buchung und Bezahlung) kurzerhand zur Flüchtlingsunterkuft umgewidmet. Da hat die Wyndham Gruppe wohl eine lukrativere Nutzung gefunden und es zeigte sich, was man von seinen "Gästen" hält. Immerhin sind eigentlich alle Hotels zu Silvester in Dresden ausgebucht. Wir wurden erst "auf den letzten Drücker" und auf Nachfrage informiert. Zum Glück hat das einigermaßen überforderte Hotelpersonal noch eine Umbuchung hinbekommen. Deswegen hier noch ein "OK". Der Rest war unterirdisch. Für und sind "Wyndham" Hotels und andere Marken der GCH Gruppe erst einmal gestorben. Der Umgang mit uns als bereits gebuchten und abkassierten Gästen war indiskutabel schlecht.

Worst experience in my life

I reached the hotel with my children at 11 o'clock to leave my baggage. I was told that my reservation was canceled because of large number of refugees arrived and they will send my to another hotel at the other side of the city !! One hour later I arrived there and was shocked that no free rooms are present and they will send me to a third hotel again to the other side of the city. Finally I was accommodated at 17:00. It took me full six hours to find a room for my exhausted family although I booked the room one month earlier and received today morning a confirmation email from the hotel.

Das Zimmer war ok aber die Dusche ging garnicht an den Fugen Schimmel und die Tür war kaput und das Wasser ist auch nicht abgelaufen. Dann das Frühstück war nix sehr wenig Auswahl und viel zu wenig Platz zum sitzen.

Gutes Hotel für einen Wochenend Trip

Service sehr gut, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer soweit gut, nur im Bad hat Duschvorhang gefehlt, deswegen gezwungen im sitzen zu duschen. Gute Straßenbahn Anbindung. Tickets dafür konnten im Hotel gekauft werden.

Naja.

Für eine Nacht waren die Zimmer o.k.. Die Einrichtung war etwas abgelebt. Der Kühlschrank fehlte, hier stand nur ein leerer Schrank im Eingangsbereich. Die Zimmer waren schlecht gereinigt. In den Zimmern war ein Staubstreifen von 5cm Breite umlaufend. Das geht besser.

Man darf sich nicht dadurch irritieren lassen, dass das Hotel in einem Stadtteil liegt, der renovierungsbedürftig ist. Das Hotel selbst ist gut und modern eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Nicht zu empfehlen

Der Teppich auf den Gängen ist dreckig, ebenso wie die Dusche im Zimmer. Service im Restaurant ist völlig überfordert und es dauerte ewig. Bewirtungsbeleg sollten wir an der Rezeption bekommen, die wusste nur nichts davon und konnte uns keinen ausstellen.Auch hier herrschte völlige Überforderung und der Check - out dauerte ewig.

Dresden-Altstadt

Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Die Möblierung war etwas willkürlich ohne klares Konzept angeordnet. Ein Nachtschrank und Nachtlicht fehlte leider ganz. Das Bad war sehr klein. Die Räume waren sehr "hellhörig", Bewegungen im Zimmer über uns waren sehr laut zu hören. Eine Straßenbahnanbindung ist in direkter Nähe. Achtung: die versprochenen kostenlosen Parkplätze muss man im Umkreis des Hotels im umliegenden Wohngebiet auf eigene Faust suchen!

Eigentlich war das Hotel völlig in Ordnung, außer dass das Internet ist 2 Tage lang ausgefallen, und obwohl wir eine "Superior" Zimmer gebucht haben wegen inklusive Parkplatz von Superior war nichts zu merken und der Hammer: DIESE HÔTEL HAT KEINE PARKPLÄTZE!!! In Dresden heißt das tagsüber kein große Problem , aber nach 17:00 Uhr kann es gut sein dass die nächste Parkmöglichkeit über 1 Kilometer weit weg ist und es dauert bis zum 45 min es erst zu finden. Frühstücksbüffet war 0815.

Ich war zum Kurzbesuch in Dresden. Hab kurzentschlossen Hotel gewählt und dieses Hotel zufällig gefunden. Das hat sich gelohnt. Vom kostenlosen gutfunktionierenden WLAN über sauberes, großes Zimmer mit TV und Balkon bis zum supersauberen gepflegten Bad - alles hat gestimmt. Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen - war eingeladen. Kann sagen für mich perfekt. Außer der Bettensteuer die Dresden seit 01.07.15 verlangt (dafür kann das Hotel nichts - die ist unverschämt hoch)

Leider ist während unserem Aufenthalt die Straßenbahn, wegen Bauarbeiten in der Straße, nicht gefahren. Pina Colada im Gewölbe leider sehr enttäuschend. Glas gering gefüllt und ohne jegliche Deko, aber auch geschmacklich nicht gut.

The hotel in general is in a great condition. Breakfast was good. The rooms were clean. The hotel is not that new but they keep it in a good condition. The neighborhood of the hotel is not the best, there is not a lot of places to eat and it is kind of scary to walk around there at night. Moreover, there is a 3 Euro City Tax charge that is not included in the price.

Wouldn't stay there again...

When we arrived at the front desk, the attendant was nice, but unhelpful. She clearly was not knowledgeable of the hotel and her surroundings. She gave us a room number that was on the 5th floor, and told us was on the 5th floor, but when we went to find it, it wasn't there. Turns out it was on the 4th floor and up a flight of stairs. We were traveling with extensive luggage and it was not the most convenient location. We also incurred to her about where to park our vehicle without getting a ticket or getting towed. She was not helpful at all about finding a spot, only telling us she thought we'd be okay parked on the street. It is understandable that the hotel doesn't have reserved parking, but a little more guidance would be appreciated. Especially since we had no knowledge about local laws or enforcement of those laws. The room was large, nice, but dated. The wifi connection was horrible. Very spotty.
