Arrived early evening looking forward to having a meal after a long drive to find out that there is no food service for the length of my stay. I feel this should have been made clear at the time of booking.
Although not the Half Moons fault, there was no WiFi available due to a damaged phone line caused by road works. As I was on a business trip this was compulsory as the phone signal in the area is next to null.
The room was comfortable and clean, only complaint with the room is the boiler that is situated in the bathroom continuously switching on and off which was noisy.
The room was very clean and warm comfortable the only problem we had was the shower wasn’t hot but Luke warm it was late when we had are shower so couldn’t mention it and we were there for one night. In the morning when we had breakfast we did mention this issue. The staff member that looked after us for breakfast was lovely made sure we had everything the cooked breakfast was lovely her name was iessie she was amazing would differently come again this is our second visit in a year..
Lovely situation in Rushall. Great beer and food at the Inn. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great facilities in the room and spotless bathroom. Breakfast was lovely

Reasonable country inn.
Last night of a 5 day cycle trip round Suffolk of three 70 year old friends. Staff very helpful and accommodated our bikes without any problem. Quite remote so little passing trade and food was only available to residents. Food and service was good, including breakfast. Condition was reasonable and bathroom was fine, although we struggled to get much water out of the showers at a reasonable temperature.
They were extremely helpful nothing was to much trouble, we met are friends there for food which was out of this world the service was brilliant.
We stayed the night, The rooms were very clean everything u needed was in there. Very warm, and comfortable the shower was good size.. will be going there again. the staff were so helpful made everyone welcome.. the breakfast was amazing lots to choose from before having your full English, the service was second to non.. every where was clean, very affordable price for the night with breakfast included..
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I was on my own and the bar was busy but they found a table for me and the food was lovely.
All home made and huge portions

Great food, charming but needs some TLC
Fantastic pub with great food and great staff. We were late and called to ask when food stopped, were told we'd definitely get fed. Arrived, checked in and put our bags in the room, then went for food.Scampi and a Burger, both were very tasty and big portions.
Noticed a few spider webs in our room but nothing major, we were in the countryside and the windows were open.
Next morning we notice a few smaller cleaning issues, ring on bedside table, that just wiped off and a few older cobwebs and dust, but nothing to complain about, linen was clean and beds were comfy.
Shower, water pressure was low, but usable, so we mentioned this when we went down for breakfast, which on the first say was cooked to order, great poached eggs and lovely bacon, sausage, tomato, mushroom and beans, all really good quality.
Went out for the day, came back late.
Second morning, shower was unusable, water pressure was almost non-existent, then we noticed there was no more loo roll, so I went and got some and queried why there wasn't any, if you want your room refreshing you must ask, we didn't know this.
Breakfast day2: buffet, same ingredients but no where near as good, dried out fried egg, hard beans, soggy bacon, no glasses.
It seemed very chaotic, odd as it was the same staff.
Mentioned water pressure, a guy came over had a look, was very apologetic.
A lovely place with lots of potential, but needs some proper TLC. I would go back for pub food, but would want a cleaner room and working shower.
Is a lovely old village pub with nice local beers - unfortunately they had some sort of problem and so were closed on the (Sunday) night I stayed - I arrived about 5pm - they held the kitchen so I could eat and have a couple of pints.
No other pubs in walking distance, so it was an early night.
Lovely country pub with great food. Rooms were detatched from main building were nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was leaving early next morning before breakfast was being served so they made me a packed breakfast the night before which was a nixe touch.
Clean apartments set in the grounds of a thriving pub. The apartments offered plenty of privacy when needed, and the pub provided great food at a great price. Lisa in particular was incredibly welcoming - I was travelling alone and she made the extra effort to make the experience feel homely! Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a place to stay in Diss.
