Wonderful stay at a Lake George beach front

We had a wonderful stay at this beach front and lakeside resort. This was a wonderful way to experience the beautiful and clean Lake George. The only thing we could have used was a fly swatter for one fly. The screen door on room 3 needed a little repair. But everything else was wonderful.

Cute little family friendly resort on Lake George.

Staff was very friendly. The grounds are well maintained. The room was small but had a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. There is free access to kayaks, standup paddle boards, a small private beach, and fire pits.

Eclectic mix of vintage Lake George decor with well appointed kitchen. The lights outside the windows and door did not shut off until some time after 1:38 a.m. (that's when I really went to sleep) and the curtains and blinds provided did not keep out the light. The queen mattress needs to be replaced. It felt like I was sliding off all night. A kind of fun, quirky place that just needs a little more upkeep. Staff was friendy.

Beautiful weekend at Diamond Point

We were able to check in early. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Pool was heated and we enjoyed the free kayaks provided

Beautiful area. Direct access to the lake. Many amenities for summer activities. Room was nice with full kitchen suitable for meals in room or on deck. Exterior of buildings appeared to be in need of some maintenance. Overall very nice stay for our fall trip.

This property is perfect for a fun family vacay or even a romantic getaway with the one you love. They have thought of everything you could want to spend time in Lake George! The staff is super accommodating and friendly. They have all the water toys needed to enjoy time on the lake and when you get back to shore, there are grills and fire pits to enjoy as well.

Good for families, deadly for romance. We'd booked a one-night stay in a room described as "excellent." alas, it was a workable but ugly, 2 BD efficiency. From our queen bed room (no nightstands or lights), we heard the refrigerator coompressor go on and off all night. But the lake is beautiful, there are kayaks and vests, fire pits, pingpong and a jungle gym for kids.

Very nice management, clean and serviceable motel. Expect nothing more. Views of lake ok (not the best vantage point), rooms tiny and cheaply constructed and furnished. Sort of a redneck feel misplaced down the road from The Sagamore and Bolton Landing, which are far better choices considering the price of this room was no bargain. Sometimes paying triple isn't worth it, but sometimes it is.

Nice, but lots of kids ..

The room had a little kitchen, new bath and a full size grill and little deck attached. I wasn't super thrilled with the fact that it was like a driveway where our deck was and people across the way had a boombox speaker going. Lots of kids running around, basketballs and ping pong balls hitting the cars. We were able to cook a nice meal. It would be great for a family. There was one queen size bed and two twin beds in a separate room. The living room was fairly rudimentary, no coffee table. Furniture was pretty dated although the mattresses felt new. There was a new bath fitter tub, which was beautiful. Full size fridge was nice to have. Overall, it was clean, furniture quite dated and definitely a lot going on as far as kids go but the property has a gorgeous view, nice little beach with a dock. The pool was nice but if you are expecting the luxury the room that we had was certainly not what I saw in the pictures on the website. I was fairly certain that must be another area because we did not necessarily get what was in the pictures. Overall a good experience although not sure we would go back.

The rooms are very clean.The walls are paper thin, so you cannot speak above a whisper or your neighbors will hear every word. Very uncomfortable. We could hear our neighbor snoring like a buzzsaw all night long. Her TV sounded like it was in our room. You could tell she had it at normal volume. Light could be seen around the entire door that separated our room from hers. Dark. The room was dark during the day with very low wattage bulbs.Too bright at night.The drapes along the front and side could not be fully closed and hung too loosely against the wall. So at night, the front deck that runs along the doors to each room was lit up like a Christmas tree (for safety I get it) but it kept the room way to bright to sleep. Not to mention the AC unit in the actual sleeping area, which was above the bed, had a LED display which was supernova brightness and could not be dimmed. This was like having a flashlight in your eyes all night. Beds too hard.Poor outlet placement/not enough outlets. There was one outlet by the entry door and one in the bathroom. That's it. So if you needed to charge a phone or tablet good luck. I had to hang my phone by the charger cord by the door and let it dangle there. Big common deck by the water is very rotted. All building roofs are in bad shape. Not a good driveway for motorcycles way too steep.

Very nice resort. The owners really care about their guests. Extremely clean and comfortable. Right on the lake, they include kayak, paddle boats rentals for free with room. Will definitely be returning yearly.
