The history of the building the audio tour and access to the roof made this visit different. I also loved the shop offering something different. The hotel was clean our room spacious and food excellent, the waiters provided service to be remembered I will recommend to friends and family to visit for an unforgettable stay

We can't describe in words how much we enjoyed being your guest for two nights. It was lovely spending a day on close by lake safari and another day the train ride through the Aravali. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and generosity. The meals were delicious and served with love, we relished them. And the property is clean, cosy and inviting. The staff were courteous, especially the guide Ishwar is so cheerful and energetic, we enjoyed the safari and train ride with him. Thank you to each and every staff, management and owners of Deogarh Mahal for making our stay memorable.

Lovely bollywood seting, ruined by relatives of the owner's lack of consideration for paying guests. We could hardly sleep as the owners held a loud party under our windows, ignoring our requests to turn the music down

Rajput opulence

We chose the Deogargh Mahol because of its location. We drove from Ranakpur and needed a place to break up the trip en route to Jodhpur. It was a lucky stop, because it was a favorite hotel on this trip. The room was amazing and the property was beautiful. They gave us a choice for several rooms , all of which were lovely. Apparently every room has a different layout. The pool wasnt exactly sparkling, but it sufficed for a quick dip. The city market is just outside the gate and makes for an interesting walk through the lanes for a little shopping. We loved the food and the service was impeccable. We would definately return.

Labyrinth with missing minotaurus

The palace is an unbelievable labyrinth and quite an adventure. Even if the place is not so easily reachable, it may belong to the "musts" of Rajasthan.Only missing a good european breakfast, like nearly anywhere else in India .....
