"Photos are misleading unless you get the ocean front rooms. Any basic rooms are old, outdated, & down the street, across the road, & up a steep hill. Even most of the newer rooms are across the road from the beach. The resort is spread out across 3 separate buildings so groups will likely be split up as ours was. Left early as our room was so uncomfortable, noisy, & lacking in amenities. Pool area lacks shade & adequate seating; it’s also super slippery and our group had more than one fall injury. Bathroom is also super slippery when wet & shower gets the entire room wet. Sadly was a disappointment. For the price, I’d recommend another resort in the area."

"Nice hotel near Lamai beach, which is a more laid back part of the island. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from, but not a lot o shopping choices. The pool area is nice area to lounge, overlooking the beach. The breakfast buffet for an additional $11 was a good deal for what you get - a variety of Western & Asian cuisine that was so delicious. The professional staff are friendly, welcoming & accommodating."

"Nice staff, happy atmosphere, feels like it had a lot more services years ago, so feels like it's half used... that said it's not trying to be anything it isn't, rooms clean, bed comfortable and sheets and towels cleaned everyday and location just off main road help with noise levels "
