"It was a descent place to stay. Rooms were nice and big but dated. Not a great place if you have someone with you that has mobility issues. Stairs down into the lodge were gravel with a wood outline and quite steep to our building anyway. "

"Sadly we found both of our rooms had been heavily scented with febreeze or some other odour spray. We had to leave the window open and fan on all night . I would suggest that the tell their customers that they scent their rooms or stop it would his be the beat choice. "

"The room was really nice and cozy, and the bathroom was stunning. The new renovation looks absolutely amazing! The front desk accommodated an earlier check-in for us which was lovely. We also didn’t hear any noise from the pub downstairs at all, but we were in the wing on the other side of the hotel — if we had paid for an ocean view then we would have been in the wing directly above the pub which would have likely meant noise. The Bear was also really good and the oysters we had were divine!...

"We decided to last minute extend our trip in Tofino and found a good rate to stay at Mackenzie beach Resort for the evening. They accomodated us by letting us know right away when our room was ready. The 3 hour early check in was super nice and appreciated! We stayed in one of the bungalows, everything was spotless, high tech, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the large private patio with your own BBQ and hot tub. "Tab was plagued, the place had no name visible from the street, we arrived at night and had difficulty finding the place. No one on front desk It was clean but to expensive for the money. It doesn’t have an appealing appearance. "
