Welcome to the OB Surf Shack — a chic but relaxing stay on the edge of Denmark town. An original timber miller's cottage from yesteryear, the OB Surf Shack has been our holiday away from home since 2022 and is now yours to enjoy. A hop and skip from everything you'll love and need in town, yet with the forest on your doorstep and the surf coast just minutes away — the OB Surf Shack is quintessential Denmark.
Nothing precious here. And that's what makes it so relaxing. Light and airy in the sunshine, moody in when it's cloudy out, just enough space to feel private and cozy, with everything you need for comfort. Sometimes it's the imperfections that make your holiday just what it needs to be, and that's what the OB Surf Shack is all about.
You'll feel the love we put into this, and the memories we've made here.
What you'll enjoy:
— epic location just on the edge of town on Ocean Beach Road with onsite parking and friendly neighbours
— three comfortable queen (2) and double (1) bedrooms with plenty of storage space in the master, complete with linen
— a bathroom with bath/shower, reliable electric hot water + bathroom essentials
— a relaxed lounge area for reading, resting, watching the cricket over summer or cozying up to a film in winter
— a private spacious undercover patio with bbq, dining and outdoor lounge
— a kitchen with all the essentials for cooking and coffee with electric oven and stove, additional appliances and a double door fridge freezer
— a wood fire for those chilly Denmark days
— a laundry with washing machine and undercover drying area
— infant and kid-friendly with a portacot, vintage highchair and plastic plates/cutlery
— pet friendly with a beautiful dog park just across the road, and dog-friendly beaches in the surrounds
— dedicated workspace (unfortunately no wifi)
— 15 minutes walk to town, surrounded by majestic forest, and minutes from world class beaches, wineries, breweries, pubs and producers.
