The breakfast is very good. The rooms are ok but in need of an upgrade, which I think is in progress. The staff and everyone I came in contact with was top notch. If you get breakfast ask for Rudy absolutely the best service!

I don’t know why this hotel doesn’t get better reviews. Yes, it’s older and yes, the rooms might smell a little bit but it’s a nice classical hotel with a good breakfast, Great location and big rooms.

It was late afternoon when we checked in and only 1 receptionist who was dealing the influx of the people waiting to checkin. And attending multiple phone calls as well. The family room exceeds my expectations as it was huge and bed were big and spacious. Breakfast is fairly good not much selections but Im not complaining as I dont much into eating breakfast. Location is just so perfect accessible to everything. Staff were all welcoming and the hotel has maintained its friendly environment ever since I first stepped in here 3 decades ago. Highly commendable.

Overall our stay was pretty good. My only complaint is that the Internet is VERY Poor to Non existing in the room (4th Floor) So to get anything done on the internet required sitting in the lobby or coffee shop. On a good note the coffee shop was pretty comfortable.

First time in Davao. Apo View was perfect for our stay, it was near the People's Park, Davao Cathedral, Gaisano Mall and taxi and other public transpo was super accessible right outside the hotel. Breakfast buffet was lovely, many choices to select from. Our room was cleaned daily and refills were regularly done for the complementary coffee etc. The staff were all courteous always greeting us with the right hand in their heart...a custom I guess to show sincerity of greetings....if given a chance to visit Davao with the whole family, Apo is the place 👍👍👍

It’s a nice old hotel with big rooms that are always clean and comfortable. The hotel does have an odor to it like some old Hotels do. I might not stay there because their staff has to say good morning and good afternoon to every person they see and that gets really annoying just trying to walk to breakfast. That May sound trivial, but after staying there several times, it really gets annoying because in my culture you’re supposed to stop and return the greeting and not just look forward and walk on like the other hot shots get a kick out of doing, I’m sure.

The property has a great location. There were issues while we stay at this property for 10 days. First, Wifi connection was very poor in our room. I could say that in our 10 days of stay, I only had a few hours of wifi connection and that was the first day we checked in. One night, I had to call their IT to help us with the wifi connection. Another night I had to go down to the front desk to ask for help and she said she will get IT to help us. We waited until we fell asleep - nobody showed up. The rest of the stay? I had to go out to the pool area or the lobby. Breakfast menu was poor. We had the same menu every morning for 10 days. One morning, when we went down for our breakfast, there was only one waiter available, no available table for 4 (it means that most tables were not cleaned nor ready and the rest were occupied. It was around 8:30 in the morning. Breakfast time starts at 6am. We stood by the front entrance for a good 3 mins to be waited on and finally I approached the waiter if we could sit on the one uncleaned table to wait because we had a senior citizen with us who can't stand that long. We waited and nobody came to clean the table so we moved to a long table of probably 10 just so we could start our day. Very disappointing. One night, I had to call 2 times for our free water bottle. So overall, the family did not have a comfortable stay at this property. Customer service was poor. I think that this property could use a better shower mat. Upgrade a little bit
