Our stay was made difficult as the room had a shower over a bath. My partner who is 82 could not use it. Staff were great and arranged for an accessible shower room but we had to wait for the relocation. The new room was spacious but too many mirrors that confused my patner

The first room we had was lovely but smelt very musty. That was on the 4th floor. The next time we stayed our room was lovely and that was on the first floor. Breakfast was buffet and nice selection. Situated down on the Waterfront area with an easy walk into town. I would definitely stay here again but ask to change rooms if you end up with a musty one.

Great service, good location

The front desk staff were so lovely and helpful. Really appreciated the service and kindness, it was especially welcome after some issues with my flight. Great location and very quiet. I liked being able to walk to the Wharf for sunrise and there were many good restaurants just next door.

Great stay on the waterfront with incredible access to restaurants and bars. Hotel room and bed is comfortable and quiet, room service reasonably good. Only issue was shower was a bit old fashioned and on one of the days, room was not cleaned despite placing a request outside the room for clean. Amazing stay purely based on location alone and would recommend.

Obviously this property is under staffed, room was not ready upon arrival at advertised check in time & many others were also waiting long periods for rooms to be cleaned, No options were given to store luggage close to room as we were on a dead line time wise & delay was causing issues. Older hotel in very good location near the waterfront. Small rooms and bathrooms. Checking in was ok for us but our friends with two other rooms had extreme difficulties. We arrive a few minutes early about 2:30 and their rooms weren’t ready. That’s ok because we were early and staff said they’d be ready by 3:00. But there was an IT issue and the system was down. During this time a fire alarm sounded, the FD responded. But it was a false alarm. Finally after waiting 3 hours our friends were given their room cards. We included breakfast with our reservation and it was goid.

It was a not so good stay…… Location is top feature Firstly the room advertised on hotels.com was not the room I was given?? Had to pay extra Fridge froze my cream, dip& tomatoes etc sadly just had to throw them out !!! Noticed some of the mini bar frozen too It was on 1 so wasn’t too high bit of a loss I think it’s getting tired the Hotel!!! Fridge had rust on door bathrooms taps dirty etc Sadly first time we went to take car out the staff member had not taken the care to put barcode on correctly so we could get out!!! So all in all disappointed!!!

The staff at vibe were absolutely amazing. They could t have been more helpful when they learnt my daughter had a fear of elevators and moved us to a lower room. They also then helped move us to another room when the bathroom fan didn’t work. Nothing was too much of a hassle. The downside for this place is it is in dire need of some repairs. The bathroom had a lot of mould around the edges of the window and chips out of the bath . The fridge was rusted and the carpet ha looking worn. The beds weee comfortable though! The location was amazing and the breakfast bar was delicious.

Nice position on the waterfront. The hotel is getting on in age but still good enough. Lot's of eateries in walking distance, whether in the waterfront precinct or over the road (Skybridge) and into town. Lots of historical areas in close vicinity, WWII and Cyclone aftermath. As for the hotel room, it was quiet even though 2 floors down there was a lot of activity in the waterfront with bars and restaurants. Room was a nice size. TV had basic free to air channels. A few issues: bedding was not changed after we spilt some coffee! and mini bar and coffee was not restocked the next day! However there is a Mini Mart across the way that stayed open till midnight so we just went there for our supplies. There is a wave pool downstairs ($9.00 entry for adults) that was nice and warm which is nice coming from Perth where every pool is quite chilly.
