In a perfect location in Downtown Danang, this is an excellent choice for a hotel. Walking distance to dozens and dozens of nice restaurants, diners, and local eateries. Lots of great beer places nearby for the craft beer aficionado, and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. The view from the rooftop swimming pool is worth the stay! The rooms are clean and modern, and the mattress was quite comfortable. 100% recommended!

Great location and service.

Very good hotel at a very good location. The senior site is highly recommended as there is not a big difference than a regular room. Service is excellent, especially Mr. Jhon from the reception who was very helpful.

John Is very lovely person he really looking after us. The place was lovely. We have a beautiful view for dragon bridge from our room. The room is very big. The bed is comfortable. Easy walking around. Shot distance to Hann market and the pink church.

Staff are super friendly, we stayed in a river view room which is amazing as we can see the dragon bridge night view from the window. The only negative thing is the bathroom got a very strong mouldy smell even though we turned on exhaust fan all night. The owner actually upgrade the bathroom but somehow the water didn’t drain down properly and stay in the bathroom at all time. Yep still 5 stars for the property.

Breathtaking pool. Perfect service.

Really enjoyed the pool and quick stay here. Staff were very attentive. Problem in the room sorted out within minutes. A/C at breakfast would have been good, and in lobby area. Decor a little dated, but it was comfy, clean, large and quiet. Shower big enough for two. Mirror also! Da Nang airport 4km away....100k vnd, not 400k vnd! Hoi An 350k vnd taxi. Massage (in the street) 60 mins 250k vnd. Not fancy, but very firm. Rooftop bar nice space to sit. Fab view....next to pool area. Breakfast beautifully presented and wide selection.

Mouldy dirty room.

2* conditions! We had to ask to be moved to another room due to very bad mould smell in first room. The second wasn’t much better and staff sprayed some chemical to mask the smell, argued the hotel was fully booked and we would be moved next day. We didnt. Given this hotel is rated 4* and we got a Superior Room, it was anything but superior. Mould, dirt, a window into a pillar of some sort, small (30cm between bed and walls either side), shower overfilled. Nothing like the window pictures advertised on the website. We are now on antihistamines as Reception didnt seem to care about the concept of Allergy! Or maybe it was just very poor english but even with translate… Otherwise, good location and decent breakfast, but you would do better going elsewhere in DaNang.

Val Soleil Hotel, Da Nang

I don’t know about the rooms but we booked the suite. 👍 the suite is spacious; nicely split into 2 sections which is optimal if one of the two is working remotely. 👍 the view of the Han River from one section and that of Dragon Bridge on from the other section. 👍 centrally located with no lack of cafes, restaurants and pubs. Everything is in walking distance. Me Khe beach and downtown near airport is 3km 🚶 👍 Good breakfast though not elaborate. 👍 the staff is very attentive. 👍 the Sen Spa only 50m away is simply fabulous…the best foot reflexology I’ve ever had. 👎 the biggest put-off - the daily house cleaning is atrocious. They’re done in 5-7 min flat. The cups are not replaced if they’re not in their exact spot. If it’s on the coffee table, it stays there, dirty. The bathrooms are not cleaned everyday unless personally supervised. The hotel really needs to retrain the cleaning ladies. 👎 the hotel site shows the River view but it is partial. Mom It is blocked in the centre by another building in front. 👎 the roof top bar is just pathetic! 👎 the taxi arranged by the hotel is always more expensive. Book grab yourself. 👎 perhaps understandable why the hotel doesn’t offer free cancellation policy.
