Nice hotel in fabulous setting. All staff are foreign friendly & helpful. Room very nice bed very comfortable Only downside? the plates in the restaurant were stone cold, we were wanting to eat towards the end of breakfast serving (to avoid the coach loads of guests) but the food was Luke warm to cold and we had to ask for food to be warmed up in a microwave.

Nothing sparkling but nothing bad either!

Did what it says on the tin - nothing fantastic but then nothing bad either (except the cold breakfast on day 2 - day 1 was fab and hot but we were early on that day). Comfortable rooms and attentive staff other than the breakfast crew who were too busy to help. Despite this we would still use again - we didn’t pay for The Ritz

Not a bad hotel, lunch/dinner menu is shocking, I wouldn’t recommend from their given limited choice (especially after a 10h drive from London). Bar staff needs lot of training, again limited choice. Room was spacious and clean with spotless on-suite. Good basic choice of breakfast, very seedy service. Over all, a clean hotel with friendly staff.

It was perfect for the highland way travelers

Since it was my 4th day traveling it was nice to stay in a hotel that felt warm and welcoming, my room accommodated to drying my things and supplying information to local grocery stores

Once an hotel of great charm. Now sad, tired.

Staff really nice but the hotel needs a lot of investment. No mattress cover on bed. No toilet accessories other than soap. Dinner menu limited . Guest information shabby document. Breakfast just ok probably cooked hours before we eat.

Great hidden gem. Mike is a great manager very personable.....we loved this place and would stay again...yes it's old and yes amenities aren't a plenty but comfort, cleanliness and the staff more than make up for it. Thanks again for a lovely stay! We will definately be back!!!

It's passable

It wants to be fancy, but just falls short. The room was mostly comfortable. However, it was hard to get the shower to run hot water without getting burned. You may or may not get clean towels. Seems short staffed. Stayed for the low cost. If you are on a budget its an ok place if you want to stay in the area.
