部屋から海が見えます。オーナーは優しい方です。これからホテルをリノベーションするそうです。タオル、シーツ、清掃は毎日ではなく、アメニティもないので女性にはあまりお勧めできません。価格重視の方には良いと思います。

Excellent value.

I stayed twice at the Palmyrah Residencies. It is wonderfully situated in the centre of Colombo. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean and simple. The rates are excellent, and I'll stay there again.

Not a hotel

It is not a hotel. It is a flat in a block rented out by a family living in another flat. No signage outside so very hard to find, you must have the street number. Family running the place kind and helpful.

Gute Lage, preiswerte Unterkunft

Diese Unterkunft ist ein einfaches Appartement. Sehr große Küche, riesiger Essbereich, Aufenthaltsraum. Schlafraum mir Klimaanlage und Ventilator. Alles praktisch, aber nicht übermäßig komfortabel, was man bei dem Preis auch nicht erwarten kann. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, das angebotene Frühstück gut und immer zur gewünschten Zeit. Leider war der Balkon verschlossen, man konnte nirgends ein Fenster oder Balkontür öffnen. Da es mehr eine Ferienwohnung ist, muss man sich darauf einstellen, dass es keinen Zimmerservice gibt, man auch sein eigenes Duschbad mitbringen muss.. Aber wie gesagt, bei ~ 30 € pro Nacht ist das normal.

Helpful and clean , but needs maintenance like most Sri Lankan accommodation . Hard to find but location good . Compared with others in Colombo it is fine

Good place for self catering.

We arrived in the afternooon, we had 10 minuites to look in our bedrooms and the other part of our floor. After that, we went to green cabin for dinner. After that we came back to our floor and went to sleep. It was very good on our first day at Palmyrah Residents. Next day, we found a big cocoroch on the floor. However the staff were very helpful by taking it out bravely.

Wifi を使えるところで探して予約しましたが、結局つながらず、仕事が出来ませんでした。 オーナーにメールしても、もう一度トライしてほしいとしか返事もらえず、残念でした。

"Schlechte Erfahung mit diesem Hotel"

Bei unserer Ankunft im Hotel wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir zu dem Preis, zu dem wir die Übernachtung über hotels.com gebucht haben nicht bei ihnen übernachten dürfen. Die Managerin verlangte von uns 50% mehr. Wie es zu dieser Unstimmigkeit kommen konnte blieb leider unklar. Wir mussten uns also eine neue Unterkunft suchen. Auch wenn das ein unschöner Start in den Urlaub war hatte es doch auch etwas Positives: das Hotel ist absolut lieblos gestaltet und schien nicht darauf ausgerichtet, dass sich Gäste dort wohlfühlen. Die Umgebung ist ebenfalls unschön. Es konnte nur besser werden ;)
