Love the Breakfast

The best part of the stay was the fabulous breakfast with a real coffee pot at the table and a lot of food choices. It was reasonable walking distance to Rhine river and cathedral.

Stayed in Cologne 6.2.25. Got the 4-bed family room. Plenty of space for us all. Very roomy, clean and comfortable. The lift is small and stairs are steep, no big deal. Dinner recommendation was on point! Only down side is trying to find parking to check in. The parking garage is half a block away and once accessed super easy. Totally recommend staying here!

A good Hotel in a interesting location.

Overall I think this can be classed as a Good Hotel. It is old style German a tad dated but actually reasonable value for money.

Overall very nice and quite clean and well-appointed. Like many small European hotels, there is not A/C, which is sort of okay - if you can sleep with street noise. The street quiets down but the adjacent large throughway on Hansening becomes very busy quite early. The hotel is very convenient to many places and the staff is helpful. Our main issue was with the Wifi, which did not reach very well to our floor. In order to look up local things or even request Uber, I found I had to go down to the lobby and stay there while doing so.

Die Besten Jahre hat es hinter sich (Aufzugs-Einbaudatum1961). Die Berteiber sind insgesamt bemüht, Service zu bieten.

Es wird Name und Preis nur bedingt gerecht.

Hätte etwas mehr für desen Namen und Preis bieten können, das Spannbettuch zu klein für die Matratze (Man lag morgens auf der blanken Matratze), das WLAN nur bedingt stark genug für die 3. Etage, Frühstück war in Ordnung, dennoch sehr wenig Auswahl. Dusche undicht und klein. Das Licht an der Aussenfassade vom Hotel schien direkt ins Fenster, Vorhänge nicht dicht genug gewesen.

Wir kommen wieder

Wir haben uns ein Dreier-Zimmer geteilt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Da das Zimmer im Keller war, roch es leicht muffig, was aber egal war da man die Türe zum Innenhof auflassen konnte. Für drei Personen war das Zimmer absolut top.

Ich hatte ein kleines Zimmer für 1 Person unter dem Dach. Sehr süß und sauber. Leider roch es etwas nach Schimmel, sichtbar war nichts. Ich gehe davon aus, dass es von den Dachbalken kommt, da das Gebäude schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist. Leider waren gelbe Ablagerungen am Duschwannenrand deutlich sichtbar. Mit etwas Chlorreiniger wäre das schnell behoben. Da sieht man, das die Putzkräfte nur wenig Zeit haben ein Zimmer zu reinigen, dann fällt sowas unter den Tisch. Das Frühstück war auch nicht gerade üppig, aber zu einem akzeptablen Preis. Zusammengefasst ein angenehmer Aufenthalt für 2 Nächte.
