"There are lots of hotels to stay at in Kathmandu, but there is only one Shankar. Shankar has unmatched hospitality, with my personal favorite hosts Mr. Puri & Mr. Sharan who are both super stars. I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. "Starting from Aisingh manager to restaurant and front desk crew like Arun, Bibita and Pratibha made us feel like important guest! Food at Zaika restaurant was excellent! Only thing you should consider lowing cost of laundry service and beer price! It's outrageous!!!
