The bed was very comfortable and within a short walk to the Bakery. Two miles drive to nearest town with of good places to eat. "We enjoyed the serenity of the location, the nature and beauty of the house and gardens. The home was secure with a gate. The animals were a bonus. We loved the old house and the antique furniture and the level of furnishings. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. What we found a bit odd was no curtains in the kitchen/living room and lounge areas but we have experienced the same thing in another cottage in France and therefore presume that this is the standard. In all, the advertising was exactly what was delivered and I wish to thank the host for the clarity in communication and response to my questions."

"Lovely and very well equipped fire. The pool area is great and secure for children. Kim and Jeremy were extremely welcoming, helpful and very communicative. we stayed with our two very young children and there was plenty of baby equipment (high chair, baby bath, stair gate etc) available. The location is rural but within an easy drive to lots of local amenities and chateaux. Would definitely recommend as a base to explore the area!"
