The Chicago Theatre was built in 1921 and was originally named the Balaban and Katz Chicago Theatre. This building has become the unofficial landmark for Chicago representing the rich arts and music culture Chicago is known for. In 1979 the building was added to the list of historic buildings, and later in 1983 was added as an official landmark for the City of Chicago.

Beautiful property and location

WOW. I had such a phenomenal trip while staying at this location. The property was walking distance to so many cool tourists spot. I stayed 4 nights and felt super safe. There is also a grocery store right next door which is stocked with anything you will ever need. If you are thinking of booking, just DO IT!!!!

Everything was as advertised; great view, nice unit. Friendly desk staff, kitchen well stocked with supplies, able to do laundry in unit. Great amenities downstairs including gym and pool table (didn’t use the pool). Really convenient to have red line stop right in front of building.
