Room decor was tired. Great bar. Convenient arrangement for breakfast. Great cold breakfast. It was an economical option for skiing at Chamonix.

Enjoyable

Hotel is a bit old but was comfortable. Rooms were okay and our stay was enjoyable. Street parking was okay and not too hard to find. We had a park at the front of the hotel. Bus into town or 20 minutes walk.

- Fast Check-in. - Very happy with their luggage storage service. Helpful while you are waiting for check in time and in the meantime, would like to go hike or do sightseeing. They are also happy to store your luggages after check-out which is great. - Breakfast is Okay. Not that have many seats to accommodate customers. - Good location. Nearby train station, nice lake to stroll and play area for kids.

Wonderful location to all the things you will want to do and see in Chamonix-Mont Blanc. The historic lodge with its bar, restaurant, and breakfast area were well-appointed and very inviting with a comfortable casualness. The food was amazing!!

Great price for bed and breakfast. Staff are friendly, helpful and could speak English which was really helpful for me. I ate two evenings in rhe restaurant and the food was very good and service was friendly and efficient. I walked everywhere but there is a bus stop right across the street.

Best hostel in Chamonix!!

The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable with an awesome lounge and restaurant area! Abundant free breakfast, and the restaurant is delicious. Ross and the rest of the staff are friendly and very helpful. The lodge is near a lovely little lake on the edge of town that is so peaceful, with great views of the forest and the incredible mountains. Best location in Chamonix. Thanks to everyone who made my stay totally awesome!! Cheers, James

Clean, excellent views, but noisy.

Clean hotel with excellent views from the room and balcony. Food at the downstairs restaurant was good, however as others mentioned the noise at night due to the restaurant was frustrating. Stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was right above the restaurant, and we could clearly hear music and patrons at least until midnight every night. We did our best with earplugs that the hotel provided, perhaps a telling sign, but struggled to rest in our room at night. Would not stay again unless guaranteed a room well away form the restaurant.
