The best feature of this hotel is its staff. The accomodation is well thought out, very comfortable and all looking iut iver the sea or pool. The fine dining is amazing, the cocktails and drinks were of a great standard. Shuttle.bus is a real bonus.

Beautiful resort, but if you want to visit Cefalu city center not the best location. The hotel offers rides to city center but only limited hours. A 4 star hotel shouldn’t have instant coffee in the rooms should be broker quality. The breakfast was very good.

We had the most wonderful stay at Insulae Resort. Such a beautiful resort that went beyond what we were expecting. I commented to my wife that it “felt like a little piece of paradise.” It was so relaxing, the poolside lunch lunches are great, the bar serves great drinks at great prices and the a la carte restaurant, Zayt, is exceptional. We had dinner in there on the first evening and it was an experience to remember. All the staff were so friendly and engaging, we were made to feel so welcome. Special thanks to Antonino, Gianpiero and Salvatore. What great guys! We really didn’t want to leave and fully intend to stay again. We felt really at home is Sicily and there is so much more to see. Can’t wait to go back. Grazie mille a tutti!

An amazing private resort on a small scale: new, clean, and thought through in every little detail. The premises are aesthetic, good-smelling and feel exclusive. The garden feels like a cosy hideout. Great cocktail bar, both during the day and in the evening, with Salvo and Emanuele not missing a chance to surprise you and make you smile. The fine dining experience at the on-site restaurant “Zayn” is worth a mention, too. A complimentary electric shuttle and EV charging are available, too.

Beautiful relaxing resort out of the way. Most staff were great. Breakfast was fantastic. Pool area amazing. Shuttle into Cefalu is great except that the last return shuttle is at 6:30 which doesn’t help you get into town for dinner so we had to take taxis back. Lunch options by the pool were a little too fancy for our tastes. Cold pool, brrrr.

Absolutely gorgeous boutique property, perfect for R&R, lounging by the pool and indulging in the inventive tasting menu (a high point during our trip!). Fantastic pool and bar area with fast and friendly service. Charming Cefalu is a shuttle ride away and we appreciated not having to drive ourselves into the town. The staff were very kind and attentive. The only downside was the size of our room - extremely small, if I were to return, I would seek out a large room if that is an option. The private terrace helps make up for it.

Great place to chill

Insulae Resort's pool, serviced by great bar staff, is the perfect place to completely relax before hitting up beautiful Cefalu for an afternoon stroll or evening meal. It's a 10-minute drive to the centre of Cefalu so you'll need a car or taxi if you're planning to come back late - the hotel's minibus service ends in the early evening. While there is access to the sea 100 metres away, it's a very rocky beach. A second walkable beach option, 400 metres away, is serviced by another resort and was very loud (thumping music). It's worth noting that trains do pass by close to the hotel and there's a concrete factory close by that also produces background noise.

The staff were always friendly, yet always professional. Beautiful hotel and environment. The food in the restaurant was incredibly good, with excellent service. Somewhere to eat in the evening with a more relaxed atmosphere would have been nice. Walking into Cefalu isn't such an issue. Parts of the road arent paved, parts are. Just be careful and you can cut down a side street to take you onto the beach road. Takes about 40minutes walking Would I go back. Definitely !!

We really enjoyed our stay at Insulae. A beautiful place to relax. Very clean, great breakfast, nice outside area with lounges, pool, ping pong and private terrace. Very friendly and sweet staff. We rather used the public beach which is in walking distance than the private sea access. The location is a bit far out to Cefalu city, but we knew that in advance, so no problem. Things that could be improved: possiblity to hang up wet towels etc. The parties booked by external people were a bit unexpected and noisy.

El hotel está hermoso, la Alberca, el bar las habitaciones todo muy bonito y moderno. Súper agradable para descansar en la alberca, los camastros super cómodos Todo el personal muy amable No está cerca del centro de Cefalu pero durante el día hasta las 19:00 tiene un shuttle bus que te lleva y te regresa. Feliz regresaría a este hotel.
