Superfriendly host and a very clean family home

Ivana was suuper helpful and friendly! A family atmosphere where Ivana served a lovely breakfast to us three guests at a joint table. She even took me to the bus station. Clean and cosy and central.

Stayed at this B&B from 22/05/2025 to 26/05/2025. Very clean, secure and quiet. Very warm, accommodating and friendly host. B&B has a home from home feel. Host was very helpful with what to do and where to go. Arrange transport and transfers, even got to borrow her umbrella of which I lost ! Missed times for breakfast but she still went out her way to make sure we did. She checked in with us daily and regularly. I will definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much Ivana.

Great Location and Host

Ivana's B&B is in an excellent location. It is walking distance to the sites as well as great restaurants (and gelato!). Note that it is a B&B, but you are left to yourself once checked in. Ivana was great and helped me with free street parking, which can be a hassle if you're not local!

Ideale ligging in het drukke stadscentrum

Ideaal gelegen in het centrum vrijwel alles op loopafstand. De beheerder biedt ook een transfer naar de luchthaven. Omdat het in het centrum ligt is het wel enigszins lawaaierig. Uitzicht vanuit de kamer op de beroemde opera van Bellini

Convenient location, homey feel

The access into the courtyard is a little tricky. It has a facade wall that leads into a courtyard, and no one was picking up the call button for the B&B. I had to wait for someone to come through from another residential apartment and they let me in. Once in, I waited about 1/2 hour before a kind gentleman opened up the B&B and he even carried my suitcase up the 2 flights of stairs because the elevator wasn't working. (so nice!) Once inside it feels like a homey, kinda well lived-in apartment. It felt completely safe with other residents there as you have your own locked room and your own private bathroom. You have to access three different keys for entry each time, but it was easy once you got the hang of it. It was a little chilly while I was there, but the heater worked great. The room itself is rather spacious. Besides the bed, it has a desk, TV, wardrobe to hang clothes, 2 side end tables and a small area with double windows to look out over the street. They serve you breakfast each morning. The only recommendation I would give is they should update their bedding as it seemed too worn out, otherwise it was a great place to stay for the convenience of walkability of the city and the cost.

Lovely B&B

It is family B&B, and Ivana's family was really nice and adorable!! I felt really comfortable here... The room was big and clean, and everything that I needed was provided. The heater was also powerful, so I could stay warm in my room..I enjoyed my staying here! Location was nice, too. Duomo and Bellini theater are near this B&B. Also, the train station and bus terminal are not far from here. I hope to stay here again if I go to Catania again :)

At first when i booked the apartment i wasnt too sure because im used to hotels but i have to say i cant fault it. The owner ivana was very welcoming treating me not only as a guest but like a family member welcomed me to her home offered me a lovely room, showed me what to do in catania and also where to eat. Lovely big size room good air con and nice art work. Shower big enough too.

Come a casa!!

Il b&b Ivana si trova al centro di Catania in un palazzo storico. A 2 minuti dalla fermarta del bus per chi arriva dall' aeroporto. Le camere sono spaziosissime con alti soffitti in parte decorati. Camera e bagno molto puliti, presenti tv wifi aria condizionata. Il soggiorno comprende anche la colazione con the caffe succhi di frutta yogurt cereali fette biscottate marmellata e frutta. Ivana è molto simpatatica e disponibile e avendo il volo in tarda serata mi ha permesdo di restare nell' area comune.Lo consiglio a tutti...in pieno centro e a 15 minuti con i mezzi pubblici dal mare. Sicuramente ci ritornerò!!

La proprietaria del B&B è molto gentile, senza essere invadente. Siccome avevo l'aereo molto tardi la sera mi ha dato la possibilità di trattenermi nella stanza oltre l'orario del check out, dato che non c'erano per quella data altri ospiti in arrivo. Ovviamente questo favore mi ha fatto molto piacere e molto comodo.

Great stay in central Catania

I stayed 4 days. Staying was amazing, super comfortable as location, close by short walk to all, very clean and quiet. Ivana's welcome was really warm. Gutes B&B fürnden kleinen Geldbeutel

Das äussere Erscheinungsbild ist erschreckend , aber innen , es war wohl mal eine große Wohnung ? In der Diele Ansammlung von Kitsch . Das Zimmer aber schön groß und minimalistisch , wohl etwas afrikanisch mit Rattanmöbeln eingerichtet , TV und Wlan vorhanden . Das Bett groß und sauber , die Matratze sehr gut . Badezimmer sauber und man hat alles was man braucht , sogar ein Bidet , auch sehr sauber . Auf meine Frage wann es Frühstück gibt wurde 7°° Uhr gesagt . Ich war 7!! Uhr da , sonst keiner , kam auch niemand . Es war eingedeckt aber es gab nichts außer ein paar Keksen , auf die ich aber verzichtet habe , fuhr dann eben ohne Kaffee zum Airport

Je recommande fortement !

Super séjour chez Ivana ! La chambre était très spacieuse, toujours propre et le petit déjeuner quotidien copieux et délicieux. Ivana nous a accueillies chaleureusement et nous as tout de suite donné un plan de la ville avec les lieux historiques. L’hotel est situé au cœur de la ville et il y fait vraiment bon vivre. Nous avons passé un séjour excellent !

Нам досталась большая комната в коммунальной квартире. Обслуживанием занимается очаровательная женщина, подруга хозяйки квартиры. С другими гостями мы ни разу не столкнулись. В нашей комнате была индивидуальная ванна со всем необходимым. Завтрак нам накрыли в большой, полностью оборудованной кухне. Завтрак для Италии был хорошим, но мужчинам наверное будет недостаточно одних булочек, хлопьев и йогурта. Хотелось бы, чтобы меню было хоть несколько кусочков колбаски. Вечером захотели перекусить в номере, хозяйка сразу выдала всю необходимую посуду. Жилище нас удивило росписью на потолке и антикварной мебелью. Жили как в музее)) Расположение дома великолепное, до всех достопримечательностей ходили пешком. Рекомендую однозначно

Comfortable and convenient accommodation.

Behind unprepossing street facade,this provides very comfortable accommodation. Ivana is an excellent,caring and accommodating host. Accommodation is in an active family environment but there is excellent separation from the delightful family. Room is spacious with adjacent sitting room. Cleanliness is impeccable. Breakfast is typical Italian. Location is very good mid-way between the railway station and the centre (cathedral) of the city both less than 15 minutes easy walk away. There are plenty of eating possibilities very close by ranging from simple bites to trattoria to fine fish restaurant linked to the BnB. Payment is by cash only - no credit card facility. In all,a very happy place to stay.
