Very good location. The day we checked in the front desk gentleman was extremely kind and helped us upstairs with all our luggage. The whole staff was extremely polite . Even the night staff member was very polite and helpful. I enjoyed the morning cappuccino.

Pleasant Stay

Although the reception is not at street level, the staff are friendly and helpful. I will miss my capuccino served with a smile in the morning and the warm croissant. The hotel is well situated with a nice view of Etna.

Cheap, but not quite value for money though. Pros: Location (close to city centre) and clean (very good job by the cleaning staff; this place was so old it's difficult to keep clean). Cons: Just about anything else. Worn out room/place, reception wasn't particularly friendly at arrival, very poor breakfast.

Catania stay

Hotel was good, decent location. The bed was good and firm, shower was fine, breakfast basic but decent. Staff really pleasant. There was a lack of sockets for charging and the wi-fi wasn't great. The room had a small balcony and the building was lovely.

They could not find our reservation. I have booked a triple room for 74 €, we got a double for me, my wife and our teen daughter. It cost 80 € for one night. It is cold everywhere in this "hotel", the guests had breakfast with their jackets on. The breakfast is ridiculous, you'd better eat somewhere outside. The shower was a disaster, the only good thing there was plenty of hot water.

Had no hot water first night. Waited over an hour for it to be sorted. Second night had to run water for ages to get it bareably warm. Internet kept dropping out continuously. Didnt feel i got any help from staff until i was leaving and they rang for taxi

Apesar da entrada um pouco sinistra, de precisar tocar uma campainha em um portão e depois passar por uma garagem, pegar um pequeno elevador e chegar até a recepção no primeiro andar, eu até que daria uma nota melhor se não fosse a falta de empatia, e a arrongancia de uma senhora que fica na recepção. Nunca vi tamanha grosseria em atendimento a cliente, mal educada e estupida . No mais, quarto razoável, café da manhã também…boa localização …mas a estupidez dessa senhora me impede de voltar lá…

Hotel Gresi (Sicile) TRES BON SEJOUR ; MERCI !

Entrée par une grande porte grise extérieure, sonnez à droite, puis entrez, Réception ouverte 24h/24 au 1er étage ; le personnel de l’accueil est très aimable (Merci) ; L’emplacement de l’hôtel est super idéalement situé pour visiter le centre historique de Catane : (par exemple) Le Duomo et la Fontaine de l'éléphant sont à seulement 10 minutes à pied, via la rue principale pour les piétons « Via Etna » ; le marché de Catane ; jardin Villa Bellini ; les boutiques de la rue Via Etna, les restaurants, etc … Chambre n°20 au 2eme étage coté cours très calme ; Bonne qualité de la literie ; salle de bain avec lavabo, wc, douche et sèche cheveux ; Petit-déjeuner : café + un croissant sicilien ; jus concentré : orange ou ananas ; fruit : pomme ou orange ; jambon et fromage ; pain de mie ; différentes confitures, nutella ; yaourt fraise ou banane, … ; Télévision ; Chambre plutôt propre ; Le jour du départ, nous avons pu entreposer nos bagages à l’accueil gratuitement ; Hôtel situé à 2 minutes à pied de la « Station de Bus Via Etna » pour prendre un bus, et surtout le Bus Alibus (4 euros) pour aller à l’aéroport de Catane (passage toutes les 20 minutes) durée vers l’aéroport = 30 minutes ; hôtel bon rapport qualité / prix, à recommander vivement !

Hotel in una laterale di via Etnea comodissimo al parcheggio multipiano Bellini. Palazzo storico con camera spaziosa, affrescata e con balconcino su cortile interno. Ascensore. Arredamento un pò retrò ma coerente con il contesto. Colazione con dolce e salato. Tutti gentili. Reception 24h24. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

L’hotel è bello e le camere sono spaziose e pulite. Gli asciugamani in numero sufficiente vengono cambiati ogni giorno. Presente il set di cortesia. L’ingresso è invece abbastanza fatiscente. Poco comodo avere la reception ad un piano e la stanza in un altro piano, ma tutti i piani sono serviti dall’ascensore. La sala colazioni è piccola e è capitato che abbiamo dovuto aspettare che altri si alzassero. I tavoli sono coperti da plastica; sarebbe carino e anche più igienico una tovaglietta usa e getta. La colazione per noi è stata più che sufficiente. I cornetti caldi sono serviti dal personale, uno a testa, ma se si chiedono degli altri li portano subito. Nel buffet ci sono fette biscottate, yogurt, frutta, acqua, pane da tostare, marmellata, miele e nutella. Per chi preferisce il salato, prosciutto cotto e formaggio. La posizione è centralissima, a due passi da via Etnea e vicina a ristoranti, pub, street food e pasticcerie.

Albergo datato ma centralissimo

Posizione perfetta. Da rinnovare un po’ l’arredo e definire politiche green (non serve buttare le saponette in dotazione, una volta utilizzate). Colazione un po’ anni 80 con cibi di scarsa qualità (prosciutto, formaggio e pane del discount) e poco vari.
