The bedroom was beautifully presented, spotless and comfortable. I especially loved the configuration for the family room with the separate sleeping area for our children.
The hotel was excellent the staff were professional and helpful. The property was fun to walk very safe and well manicured.
The rooms are inviting and comfortable
We loved staying at the Breaffy House. The staff and were friendly, helpful and the service was excellent. Our whole experience was exactly what we needed. We highly recommend booking a stay!
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The evening meals were excellent. The breakfast was a buffet which was satisfactory but not the same quality as the evening meals. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Beautiful hotel, lovely grounds, great facilities and amazing breakfast. However there is an IPAS centre in the grounds. The residents of the IPAS centre pretty much take over the outdoor areas such as the play park and crazy golf. I paid quite a bit of money for this hotel and the facilities and was completly unaware of this when booking, for this reason i wouldnt return
Great hotel set in lovely grounds. Hotel decor and a very good standard. We had a bar meal in Healy's Bar which was excellent value for money and very good food. The Health centre also provided a great area to chill and relax.
Made to feel welcome on arrival.
Room clean, spacious & very comfortable. Lovely breakfast will plenty of choice for all diertary requirements
Wonderful stay, would highly recommend
Lovely hotel and grounds, pool wonderful. Only niggle was not given information on restaurant or pool at checkin and was hard to get to see restaurant menu in advance .
Lovely to be upgraded to a better room and nice views and super food in dinning areas.
Only small concern was that the cupboard holding the fridge needed better ventilation so the fridge would work - when the door was shut it all got very hot making the fridge less efficient.
What a lovely place. We had a fabulous time. Don't miss out on the crowder, the best we've had in Ireland. Beautifully clean with lovely furnishings. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff friendly staff who were so helpful.

We had a truly wonderful time at this hotel. The location was perfect and absolutely beautiful — ideal for a family getaway. Our children loved everything about it! They had so much fun playing mini-golf and spending time at the kids’ playground. They truly had a blast.
The hotel itself was lovely, clean, and welcoming, with every detail thought out for both adults and children. The restaurant was excellent — delicious food, great atmosphere, and even the kids enjoyed their meals, which doesn’t happen often! (Kids stay kids :) )
The hospitality was flawless from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive.
It was such a fantastic experience that we’ll have to come back. Thank you for making our stay so perfect!
Fabulous from start to finish. We had prepaid so check in and out were quick and easy. Staff were very helpful from reception to bar and restaurant staff. Breakfast was lovely as was the meal we had in the bar the night previous. Would highly recommend
My niece received a surprise proposal at Breaffy (both from the US and the 5th generation to be engaged on County Mayo soil) - both from the US and the staff was outstanding in their support. The staff , the grounds, the house, the engagement celebration and the follow up dinner that night was outstanding. Also really appreciated the lap pool and swam a half mile. If I have one complaint there was only one window to air my room out and it took a long time for it to get unstuffy. And this was at the beginning of May. Best to have more air circulation available- especially during the warmer months. Thank you Breaffy, for such a memorable time in every way.
The property is well appointed and characterful. The staff are engaging - a delight to work with.
The dining area are their own reward - especially at breakfast.
The evening mean will benefit from review - a sole salad option! 😞
The lockers at the Spa require repair - lockers that don't!?
Otherwise the Spa is fabulous. 😀
We love everything this hotel has to offer for our family. It has everything you need for an enjoyable family break. Beautiful location, great food and a lovely atmosphere. We were very happy with our stay. Never one to complain I wish the hotel would install new door stoppers to prevent the room doors closing so loudly, that’s the only negative issue we had. Constantly hearing doors closing so loudly is not what you want to hear while on a break. Overall a lovely hotel
Beautiful property, but they seen to be lacking the resources to make it a fabulous property. Room was clean and neat, but just didn’t meat the grandeur of the property. Pub certainly didn’t meat the charm of the property
The hotel itself is fabulous, beautiful setting and wonderful grounds. The food for all meals was exceptional, but there was a bit of a delay with one of our kids meals. The rooms were spotless and beds really comfortable. A couple of issues, was the very noisy hallways at night, doors banging very loudy and children and adults very noisy up and down the hallways. The hall and stairs carpets badly needed to be hoovered and this didn't improve over our stay. The pool was quite cool but the changing areas were great. The staff were all very friendly and we would stay again.
A large, comfortable and quiet room. Excellent and friendly staff throughout. The restaurant did not have an a la carte menu, but a choice of two grand set menus, which was a shame as we didn’t want multiple courses each evening. We ate from the bar menu each evening, which was a bit of a let down as far as choices. The menu seemed to favour beef, chicken or vegan with no pork or lamb offerings at all. Good breakfast.
Apart from the limited food we had a pleasant stay, but I’m not sure I’d rush back until they broadened the menus.
