"Mixed reviews. Hotel ok & in a good location. Bed was extremely firm, not the premium room overlooking the castle as requested not a true “balcony” which we paid extra for. Front desk staff ok but never offered welcome drink so husband asked about it later in the day. Having said that, nice dinner recommendation in town as well as many options for breakfast. Would recommend either not paying for upgraded balcony room or castle view, and perhaps just a bad day for front desk staff. It was not busy at all during our stay so very quiet on property. "

"The shower in my room was very tiny and there is no way of avoiding getting the bathroom floor wet. Probably why there's a drain in the bathroom floor. The night stand, shelves and suitcase stands look like someone built them from plain wood and put them in the room. No "real" furniture except for the very low beds. It'll do if you just need a place to sleep. However the complimentary breakfast was nice enough and they didn't throw you out before you were done eating. Staff were friendly and helpful. I suggest booking through Hotels.com for a better rate. The walk in rate is much more expensive which was unfortunate since we wanted to extend our stay. There is heat and a/c in the rooms. "
