Very nice place to stay when you are in the Getsemini area of Cartagena, not upscale but affordable. In the heart of things, but quiet once you pass through the hotel doors. The staff are so friendly and professional, and make a good breakfast. It was very hot and humid during the stay, so the pool and the hammocks were great to use, just outside the room, which was air conditioned.

perfect place in cartagena

Very good hotel, very simple and at a very good price. All the rooms overlook the indoor pool where you can relax. Cartagena is a very festive city, with music everywhere, but from the hotel, you could find peace. Breakfast is taken around a large table, which will allow you to make acquaintances. In terms of location, you are 100 meters from Trinidad Square, so you can do a lot of things on foot.

I adored this place. I stayed in 4 similar hotels across Southeast Asia, and this topped every single one. The location is perfect. The workers are so so so kind and make the best homey breakfast. The room and bathroom is clean. There is always an employee at the desk, no matter the time. It has a pool and hammock and is very beautiful (I do love red). The only minor issue is that there were a bit small bugs, but I didn’t notice before my siblings told me. Highly highly recommend!

Really nice property in the heart of Getsemani. The staff there are amazing and always eager to provide assistance. The rooms and pool area are always clean. Breakfast was great. It can get a little noisy in the evening from from the open-air bars and stuff out in the street so if you're a light sleeper or early-bird, you may want to reconsider. For us, it was all part of the Cartagena experience and we lost zero sleep.

Our stay has been wonderful. The property location is walkable to many places so you do not need transportation. The breakfast is included and the ladies that every day have been preparing those delicious meals have made our time more enjoyable. I recommend you to try the pineapple marmalade that is fresh and homemade by the staff. The only thing is that it needs more places to hang up towels (especially if you have booked a room for 3 people or more). Overall, this place is comfortable to stay as we felt safe, it has easily access to many interesting areas nearby, lively area, the staff is wonderful all of them!

Good location with nice pool

Casa Relax has good location with walking distance to everything you need in town. The breakfast is simpel consisting of two eggs, white bread with jam and some fruits, you can also choose crepes. It is clean but old interior. The staff was friendly and helped us with booking taxi to and back to the airport. The place has also a nice pool and hammocks in the common area. It’s however very noisy in the evening from the street and in the morning when everyone eats breakfast, at least for us that got a room just outside the eating area. I would anyhow recommend the hotel for a couple of nights in Cartagena if traveling on a budget.

The night receptionist was very rude would fall asleep and not open the door and yelled at us for knocking more then once after we waited a few minutes for him to open. Besides that the ladies who did breakfast were very nice!

Location is good if you’re wanting to stay out late and party. If you have early morning tours like we did, I’d advise going somewhere else (even a block or two away). The noise outside was very loud even in the room. Other than the noise though, the location is great! Hot water and wifi were spotty. Staff were very friendly but did not speak much English even though it says they do on Expedia. Breakfast was good.

We loved our stay at Casa Relax. The morning breakfast table was a great mix of nationalities. The pool and hammocks in the middle of the property were so inviting. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Really great property, spacious rooms, pool is amazing, safe hotel too, would be great for families. Only complaint is that the room sheets smelled a little so bring some air fresheners if you care about that. But other than that pretty good
