Lovely accommodation attached to a pub. Pub served a good selection of drinks and a decent menu for main meals or light bites. Breakfast was lovely, again with a decent selection. Staff were all lovely. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great stay at The Barns

Had a great 1 night stay at The Barns to go to nearby Cannock Chase for a forest live concert.Very nice room really comfy bed and spotlessly clean the Bar and resteraunt area are well presented plenty of seating even tho it was very busy weekend breakfast was very good with a choice of options served to your table very quickly by polite friendly staff overall really impressed with The Barns will definately look to stay here again next year as really convenient for the forest live shows.

Very Good

The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁

Our stay at The Barns was excellent, we were greeted by Lisa at reception. The room was very clean and comfortable and Jemma in the dining room was so kind and sweet. This is our main stay when we visit the UK as we hail from USA this is a a must. Recommend to potential guests !

Great stay

Had difficulty finding the hotel as was dark and we don’t know the area. We had a lovely stay. No problem parking close to reception. Friendly staff. Restaurant offered lots of variety and not expensive. Bonus the food was cooked fresh. Would definitely stay here again.

Extremely pleasant stay at The Barns for a couple of nights while we were visiting for a family wedding. Staff were very accommodating and friendly and the rooms were large, with a VERY comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. There was a good choice for breakfast with plenty to set you up for the day. We would definitely return as we felt welcome and comfortable.

Always a good stay

I’ve stayed at the barns several times and never been disappointed, on reflection it’s quite expensive but its location is ideal when I visit family in the area. The breakfast is always great and the staff who work the breakfast shift are always exceptional, work so hard and always polite. This hotel is also a wedding venue so take your ear plugs, it’s not quiet and relaxing at such times, but will always get top points from me.

I love the lay out of the building, the room was beautiful and the bed was so comfy! The lovely man on reception was so helpful as we didn’t get there till 1am due our wedding reception running over! We would most definitely stay here again! The breakfast was delicious and there was just the right amount and beautifully presented and breakfast staff were fantastic! Thank you so much you guys are awesome! Definitely recommend to our friends and family!!!

Overall very good

Lovely quiet room on ground floor. Bathroom sparce. No loo roll holder. Nowhere to put toiletries in shower. In the bedroom, 2 cups, on drinks tray, one clean, one dirty, strange. Staff super nice except for one lady at breakfast service, must have got out of bed the wrong side!! Overall would recommend. We would stay again.
