Hotel incantevole, personale accogliente e cordiale, appena fuori dal paese facilmente raggiungibile attraverso una passeggiata lungo lago. La terrazza ristorante da sola vale la scelta del posto. Ristorante raffinato. Camera pulita.

Relaxing and peaceful

Upon arrival we were met by 1 of the owners who showed us our room and explained everything we needed to know. We have never met such nice genuine people that go above and beyond to help. There is a stairwell / steps down to the lake which I imagine if your elderly or disabled would cause an issue but we loved the challenge. In the reception there are bus and ferry timetables, a booklet printed by the owners of places to visit as well as leaflets. It is a beautiful family run hotel and we are hoping to visit again.

Das Hotel ist nostalgisch. In dem Teil, in dem wir wohnten war das Bad eine eingefügte Nasszelle (weniger schön). Das Zimmer war nicht gerade komfortabel.

Hotel mit in die Jahre gekommenem Charme, sehr guter Küche und sympathischem Konzept - Verwendung von Produkten aus eigener Ernte und Herstellung. Wunderbar duftende Wäsche. Morgendliche Klettertour zum Strand lohnt mit erfrischendem Bad in sehr sauberem Seewasser.

Amazing view of Lago Maggiore

The location is amazing with a nice terrace/restaurant viewing the lake. The service was great. Room had a nice view, was clean but furniture was old. Be aware that it is not good for people having issues in walking stairs and/or up and down hill.

auf der Terasse genossen wir einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore bei einem guten Glas Wein. Das Nachtessen war ausgewogen und fein. Wir konnten aus 3 Zimmern auslesen und bekamen das allerschönste mit Glasverzierungen und dem tollen Ausblick. Die unter dem Hotel vorbeifahrenden Autos störten nicht sehr und wir schliefen sehr gut.

Le nid de l'hirondelle!!!

Avons passé une nuit à la Rondinella où nous avons occupé 2 chambres dans la partie ancienne de l'hôtel qui était autrefois une maison bourgeoise : si le confort est simple elle a beaucoup de charme et on jouit d'une vue magnifique sur le lac. Le propriétaire est très agréable et fait le maximum pour satisfaire ses clients! Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié mais n'avons pu juger la restauration car le lundi soir le restaurant est fermé. Une adresse à conseiller mais pas aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

Hotel a conduzione familiare, il proprietario gentilissimo , avevo prenotato una camera con parziale vista lago e mi è stata data una camera con una vista lago stupenda. Non è distante dal porto, io sono arrivata con il battello, quindi a piedi ho dovuto attraversare un tratto di statale dove non ci sono marciapiedi .

Quand je suis arrivé, il n'y avait personne à l'accueil et l'établissement semblait fermé. Le site ne fait nullement état du fait que le restaurant est fermé (au moins ce jour) hors ceci est un de mes critères de choix. J'ai réussi à avoir le propriétaire (très agréable au demeurant) en allant frapper à sa porte d'habitation (situé au même endroit). L'accès n'est pas facile de nuit, l'adresse GPS est la route sur le bord du lac, mais l'accès à l'hôtel se fait par un petit chemin sur le coté de la route car l'hôtel est en surplomb.

Villa mit traumhaften Blick auf den See

Wir hatten in dieser Villa ein paar sehr angenehme Tage im September verbracht. Das Wetter war sonnig und der morgentliche Blick auf den See malerisch. Wir waren in einem der Eckzimmern mit dem grossen Eckfenstern untergebracht. Der Besitzer spricht gut deutsch, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sauber. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Küche ist gut. Die Region bietet eine schöne Mischung aus Bergen, Seen und Kultur (Isola Madre und Bella). Die Nähe zur Schweiz erweitert das Ausflugsspektrum. Locarno, Ascona sowie Berge und Täler in der Umgebung (z.B. Valle Maggia). Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff

This hotel is really very beautiful. The place is very nice. You have a beautiful view to the lake. It is very near to the beach. The village itself is also very nice. The place offers good possibility to visit other surrounded nice villages either by boat or by car.

Fantastisk italiensk charme med udsigt.

Fantastisk beliggenhed med udsigts over søen - Rigtig italiensk charme når det er bedst uden at det bliver luxseriøst. Venlig betjening og meget god mad til absolut rimelige priser. Helt klart et ekstra besøg værd.
