I went to that hotel I found there is no hotel anymore it’s taken by in paid loan bank not allowing anyone to move in No employees What chocked me that the police said it’s blocked for almost three month?!!!!! Why huge institutions like Expedia didn’t have idea before Am really hurt me and my son spend the night in Uber look for hotel Also am so surprised I send you messages before Tried to call customer service but no luck Please I need a call back Hi need some one to explain about all of this massive distrustful situation on mob number 00201005050478

Good Hotel/Resort to visit Pyramids, & settle in

Cataract Pyramid Resort was a fantastic start for the Egypt trip. Lovely building, room & gardens & pool. Breakfast is fantastic all you can eat buffet of fresh food anyone would like. WiFi in rooms not the fastest but acceptable. Location is good if you don’t mind getting taxi’s. Close to Giza Pyramids. Rooms are very clean & had a flat screen in mine.

You’re getting what you pay for - a bog standard cheap resort hotel. Location wise - not great. Close to the pyramids but nothing else really, not a great area. Furniture in my room was old, bathroom was awful and smelt bad, toilet bowl was black. No wifi in rooms. Other than that, the room was fine if you’re just sleeping in it. I made the mistake of not reading reviews before I booked.

Shocking customer service but not a bad hotel

I booked the oasis room which’s in front of the pool For two adults and 3 kids was meant to get one queen bed and two single beds however when I checked in they said the booking was only for two adults i Showed them my booking and they said I have to pay the extra then they said will speak to the agents and get back to you. First night they put me in the wrong room 3 single beds I refused to take it but they were saying that’s the only room they have which it was a lie then they promised me to change the room next day Went next day and again they said no rooms available I’ve contacted hotels.com help line and then few hrs later I got a call from reception magically they have rooms available So I went to see it the first one I didn’t like coz air con was not cold then the 2nd room was fine. The place it self is nice Pool is good and clean Rooms are ok they do come and clean it everyday No iron in the room No kettle in the room They do have a small fridge The breakfast is quite nice Restaurants food is ok The service around the pool area is shocking They have a singer in one of the restaurants finished 10pm There is a local shop outside the hotel if you need water snacks or drinks And uber or careen service around the area no problem Cash machine also outside the hotel

As soon as I checked in, the phone in my room was not working I have made 4 trips to the reception to ask them to fix it (reception is very far from my room) no help at all Phone was not working the whole time I was there. Staff were very defensive and unresponsive to any request. On my checkout I had asked the reception staff 4 times to open the gate for the Uber driver and they kept delaying me. No one helped with the laugage at the exit. Very bad service

Propreté laisse à désirer. Un personnel lent pour répondre à nos demandes. J'ai demandé 3 fois des essuis sans les avoir j'ai dû attendre 3h en vain. Un coiffeur inexistant alors qu'on m'a promis qu'il était là. Mensonges sur mensonges. Je déconseille cet hôtel pour une personne qui veut des vacances sans soucis. Faut avoir énormément de patience pour restet dans cet hôtel. On a dû changer d'hôtel pour vraiment passer de belles vacances. SOFITEL CAIRO LE LUXE !
