The view from the hotel rooftop is epic. Enjoyed 3 nights of light shows of the pyramids for free (other wise it costs $30 per person). Staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. Lost a camera and they drove me to a store to buy a new one. Room is clean and met our needs.
We loved the hospitality of the owners, Susu and family, they are great, and we felt welcomed at all times, and safe under their care. I think that the new area is better than the original site, but it is difficult to get around without a taxi. Safety at first seems a worry.
Atlantis Pyramids Inn has perhaps the best view of the pyramid in Egypt. The personal are super friendly with great breakfast and entertainments. Our stay were so enjoyable, it was hard to say goodbye. We will miss it greatly.

Location & Service was 5 stars.
The property location for the Pyramids and Sphinx is the best. You can view them all day and night from the balcony / at breakfast etc.
Also all the staff, Eissa, Susu, Saad and Hasaan were so good, friendly ano nothing was too much trouble.
This was the friendliest and most welcoming place we have stayed in- ever, in a country already famous for warm welcomes. It was just unforgettable- we loved it! Superb location and stunning views of all three pyramids, the Sphinx and the Giza plateau. Shops outside. Nice rooms, meals air con in the rooms....could not have been better!
This property was great! I had a 13 hour layover in Cairo and I wanted a hotel in Giza that was very close to the mir (pyramids) and heru-m-ahket (sphinx). This place was perfect, as I was able to see everything from my hotel balcony. And the view from the roof of the building was even better! To top it all off, they had a wonderful local meal and traditional entertainment/dance prepared for me when I arrived. This family was wonderful and not only will I stay there again on my next visit, but I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone inquiring about a quality hotel close to mir and heru-m-ahket.

The view to the Pyramids is awesome and the Staff friendly. Other than that, the hotel quality does NOT stand out. Too many flies, breakfast and hygiene have space for improvement.
Many dogs and cats on the street are in bad shape, garbage and litter everywhere. I would not stay in Giza area again.
I don’t know where to begin this review as we had one of the greatest times of our lives at the Atlantis Pyramids Inn!
We dreamed of visiting this amazing part of the world for so long, but we discovered so much more than we could ever imagine. The location is incredible with the best view of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. The clean and comfy rooms are lovely, the food delicious and the roof terrace is a spectacular location, whether eating, chatting or simply drinking-in the view.
What makes this place so special is not just the view, but the people. The staff of Hassan, Iman, Mohammad and all the others) are so friendly, charming and so helpful and we loved our time with them. It is not often you dream of returning to a holiday location to see the owners, but that is exactly why we will return to see the incredible Soso, Eissa and Esu! Everything we organized through them, whether visiting Saqqara or cruising down the Nile, was amazing, very well-organized and great value. Our favourite memories of this trip however are the times we spent with them. They are beautiful, caring, fun people who do everything they can to make your visit as memorable as possible. If your dream is to truly experience this stunning place, not simply to visit, there are no better people to welcome you and no better location than the Atlantis Pyramids Inn!
The hotel is incredibly hard to find, with only a banner and 6 flights of steps to reach the “lobby”, which is the roof of the building.
The couple running the hotel are the nicest you could ask for, and the location is unbeatable. That’s where it stops for me.
I did not get the three bed with balcony that I booked. What I got was a small one bed room, that was alleyway attached to the building. Down six flights of stairs, through some abandoned rooms, past not one but two metal gates.
After more than one hour, I am shown to my room, only to find no towels. This became less of an issue when I realized I also had no running water. This was fixed in one hour.
Again, the location is top notch, and I then spent the evening on the roof watching the light show on the pyramids, twice.
Now, having been in Cairo 6 hours, after 20 hours of overnight travel, I head back to my room for some rest. Mind you, it is 9 pm.
I am first turned away by a worker, who will not allow me to my room. His boss corrected him after some discussion, and I was allowed to pass. I get in and for the next 4 hours, there is tile cutting and jackhammering literally next to my room.
At 12:30 am, I go out and have a very frank discussion with the boss, and he says they will stop for the night, and they do stop working, but not speaking loudly and banging tools around.
4 hours sleep, cold breakfast, extra charge for coffee, I was happy to leave.
Camera spaziosa, personale gentilissimo sempre pronto ad aiutare ad organizzarti visite o altro. Terrazza meravigliosa con vista piramidi. Consigliato!!
The owners is extremely friendly but the most extraordinaire thing is you get to eat breakfast withbthe pyramids 200 yards away. A breath taken view. Should definitely be on your hotel list.
Velmi prijemni lide - legrace a zazitky super.
Da s chodit po okoli jak se trosku porozhlednete.
Urcite by jsme se vratili.
Pokoje fajn. Jidlo super.
Posezeni take super.
Soso and Issa are the best hosts. They have very comfortable rooms and very delicious food. Every single staff member is friendly and helpful. The views from the roof of the pyramids cannot be rivaled. This place gives you a combination of great pyramid views and proximity and the chance to learn about the neighborhood. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely great place - wonderful hosts, comfy room, and the views from the spacious but cosy terasses are breathtaking!
This was definitvely my favourite place in Egypt. Hope I have the opportunity to come again.
I travel all over the world and this is the first trip I almost felt like crying when leaving because I felt like I was leaving family behind. If you are expecting facilities like the Ritz this is not the place for you but if you are looking for service beyond the Ritz this is it. Staff was amazing , my new family will take care of you if you choose to stay here. We sat outside , talked , sang songs and watched the light show at the pyramids. I was eager to get back daily from my excursions so o could hang out with Mena and her family and the other guests. If you need help with excursions look no further. We had minor concerns which were addressed immediately. If you have issues please let the staff know they will work expeditiously to ensure a resolution. Best stay I have even had and I will definitely be back to stay with my new family ! You will not be disappointed with your stay.
un accueil au top, des chambres très propres, une ambiance très chaleureuse, face aux pyramides. Nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison. Un grand merci à Soso et à Ouissam.
Super friendly folks. From the owners to the staff everyone was super approachable. The view was fantastic from the roof. I got to hangout with the owners and other travelers. I would live to revist this place
We enjoyed our stay here immensely. We felt comfortable here. It was a family-type atmosphere away from home. They had a terrace facing the sphinx and pyramids and everynight we got to see the light show. It was very spiritual--you could feel it. If you want a luxurious hotel, this isn't it. It is much more. We want to go back and stay here when the new museum opens. Till then....
It is beside sphinx and has good views of the pyramids.
good employees here and owners are nice and knowledgeable.
No elevator but employees will carry your bag.
It's also near convenience stores, kfc, and pizza hut. Good air conditioning. Wifi could be improved tho but internet data in egypt is very cheap with sim card.
Absolutely amazing stay, I could not be happier. As I am often a solo female traveler, it's important to me that I am not just another anonymous face among ever-changing guests. If I don't return when I am supposed to I want someone to notice immediately and not days later when I don't show up to pay my bill. At Atlantis Pyramids you get exactly the family feeling that is so important to me, and I truly felt that they were concerned about my well-being and it showed in a myriad of small ways.
It is a simple hotel with only the basic necessities, but if you like me could care less about the trappings of luxury and instead value warmth, humor, local knowledge, and feeling connected to your hosts then this is absolutely the place for you. You are always welcome to hang out with the staff and the other guests in the common room or on the roof in the evening and have a laugh and nice conversations about everything and nothing. Need anything? They will run out and get it for you.
Excellent cleaniness and upkeep, the entrance is locked at all times and they will buzz you in as needed. I am a professional photographer and felt completely comfortable leaving my expensive gear in my room. Great view of the Sphinx and the Giza pyramids and you can see the light show for free from the roof.
I recommend this small family hotel with all my heart and cannot imagine choosing another place to stay when I visit Egypt next time. Thank you so much for making my stay in Egypt so enjoyable!
