There are many other beach locations nearby, as well as the delightful Mangonui Historic Village where you can take in the harbour while sipping on a coffee in one of the cafes or the ever popular Mangonui fish shop,then enjoy browsing in one or two of the little shops our township has to offer. A 20min drive away is the Karikari Peninsula which has plenty more to explore.
