Great location and friendly staff

The location of the hotel is great - next door to a fabulous cocktail bar - possibly the best I’ve been to called Railside bar and also next to the beach train station. There is a great boardwalk that runs the length of the beach train taking you to the livelier side of town. We found the staff very helpful unfortunately the way the lift works you tend to bypass the lobby area as you come and go, which is a shame as it’s a nice way to interact and appreciate the service of the staff.

Great location only a couple minute walk to the beach and right next to the beach train station. The decor was amazing and the room was very comfortable. Great views from the huge balcony. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was very clean and spacious compared to the average Korean hotel. Great views of the beach and balcony was amazing! Pool was really fun and the to go breakfast was great. Overall, nice comfortable foreign friendly hotel.

This actually is a very cool place. Big rooms with sea views and some of the best beds I have ever tried. Staff is great and the area around the hotel is my favourite part of Busan. Highly recommended.

The property was great for the train/sky capsule line, and were at a couple of great restaurants nearby. However, the reception was not always manned, we were asked to schedule our room service, and the breakfast was poor - a croissant with ham and cheese (no vegetarian option) and three tiny pieces of cut fruit.

Although the weather was cold when we were staying, the pool provided warm water which was really user friendly! Besides, the staffs were so friendly and helpful. We loved the pool, the service, and the facilities! Will stay again!

A great stay at The Coolest Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at The Coolest Hotel. The front desk staff (Rayoon) was so helpful and kind. The breakfast was also convenient! We enjoyed the view from our balcony as well as the pool. The room we booked was the smallest room type. Perhaps next time I would book a slightly bigger one.

The view from the room and the pool was amazing! Breakfast was so delicious! The staff and the manager were so friendly and warm. I made some mistakes during check-out, but the manager helped me a lot in fixing the problems for me. Appreciate it! Hotel is next to the famous Busan travel train. Come and stay at this fabulous place!

Great hotel on the beach

We loved The Coolest Hotel. The staff was wonderful. They helped us with transportation and ideas of where to go. Our last day we had to leave early before our paid breakfast time and they prepared a to-go breakfast for us. The beach the hotel overlooks is Songjeong Beach and it has a relaxed mellow surfer vibe that is very different from the busier beaches of the city. You can stroll along the water’s edge in the morning.

A super cool hotel

Hey I’m PY from Taiwan. I was here with my family. We all love this hotel, very good location if you have plan to visit east Busan and super friendly service. The girl and guy were super nice to us which made us feel like stay at our home. Also, the blue line park station is very near hotel, the rooftop swimming pool is awesome as well, great view and atmosphere. We have already plan our next busan trip and stay here again in Summer

The hotel is pretty new, less than a year old, so the rooms are spacious, everything worked perfectly and the hotel has some charm with the pool at the rooftop and the great views of the beach from the room. Staff was great, very nice , polite and helpful. Finally location wise, is next to the beach, one of the tourist attractions to Busan but a bit far from anything else. Still there are ways around like subway or the costal touristic trains that takes you closer Busan center. Will recomend it!

Trying to be Cool but not nailing it

Our room had a bath with a fab view of the beach but the whole set up was weird. There was no restaurant so you had to collect your breakfast from reception. The rooftop pool was the best part of the hotel. Transport was not especially easy unless you caught the slow moving tourist tram (it was quite a hike to either the subway or a bus stop). Would recommend staying in Haendae unless the point of your trip was to get to the beach.

The hotel had such a great vibe, near transit amenities and in a cute sleepy surf town! Place was clean, staff were polite and kind, i never tried the restaurant. Lots of places to eat. If you run, amazing running path all the way to Haeundae. 40 min walk to the Yonugungsa Temple and Lotte Mall.

The coolest indeed

Had an amazing time at The Coolest Hotel Busan. Wonderful colleagues, brilliant finishing touches and an awesome base to go and explore Busan. We would definitely visit again. The style is great and the perks of the rooftop bar and the grotto bar are brilliant Thank you for a great stay. Top tip, buses don’t let you get on with suitcases but it’s only a quick taxi from Busan station or the subway to get there. Super simple.

The property was clean and bright but breakfast was a ham and cheese crossiant and a wedge of orange. Thinks were broken down elevator twice. Hours were strange no breakfast before 8 no pool before 9. And when we arrived we werent sure where to check in and when we finally decided we must go up to the 2nd fllor there was no staff around for a good 10 minutes.

Nice hotel with some quirks.

The bathroom was a little dirty. There was hair on the floor from the previous party that stayed there. Also there is parking outside and the "tower" self parking. Unless you have a luxury car though they will ask you to park inside. To me this seems a bit rude because regardless of the type of car I am driving I am paying the same amount to stay there. So even if there is available parking outside you will potentially have to wait in line for the self parking. Also three times during my stay I needed to return to the lobby to get my key re-keyed. I was told to keep it away from the other cards I have. At this point this is a common sense thing to me so I just said okay. The second time I asked why this keep happening and I was told they were not sure. The third time I was told that their system drops the rooms every day because they don't expect people to stay long. All of those answer seemed unsatisfactory to me and not so much of an apology for the repeated inconvenience.
